I'm not sure if the previous reviews makes this clear, but "Aquaventure" is basically the water amenities at the Atlantis Resort. You get access to them for free if you stay at the Atlantis or their affiliated resorts (i.e. Comfort Suites, The Cove, The Reef, Harborside timeshare). But if you aren't a guest, you can purchase a day pass. This... more

This review is regarding free beach next to Atlantis. It is called Cabbage beach. If you are taking a private guide (cost $25 per person and little cheeper fro family) he will take you there.... I took a cruise and did a private guide. At the end he dropped my family at this beach. Beach felt scary but we decided... more

This place is amazing, and much better than even our wildest expectations. And its all FREE as long as you are staying there or, like we did, Comfort Suites. The value is incredible, lazy rivers, water slides, pools and though not technically part of Aquaventure two beautiful beaches and numerous aquarium exhibits. Wow! more

We read mixed reviews about Atlantis, so we were a bit wary about going. We decided to take a water taxi over to check it out (water taxi round trip is $6 per person from Downtown Nassau) but they won’t let you into the park so you can’t see what it is like. Anyway we decided to give it a... more

My husband and I go to the Bahamas every year and I do not like to miss this attraction. Since the first time we visited it I am hooked. There is no other water park like it. It is a bit pricy for a waterpark but you get use of the whole property and it is worth it. The lazy... more

There is something for everyone to enjoy at Aquaventure. Kids of all ages will enjoy the water slides, pools, and lazy rivers. We had one bad experience with a lifeguard on the rapids ride when my youngest daughter was flipped off her tube. She freaked out and swallowed quite a bit of water when she went under!! The lifeguard yelled... more

If you are not staying at the Atlantis the cost is approx 115 from 9am-7pm. Well worth the money. The grounds are beautiful. You can lay by one of many pools, see the underground marina, relax on the lazy river, have a great time on the water slides or lay on the beach. Great friendly staff. The food was a... more

We did this as a shore excursion and had a great day. The grounds are amazing. Several pools to choose from. The lazy river is the best. It's not so lazy, it's fun! They have conveyor belts that take you up to the slides, so you never even have to leave your tube. The mayan temple slides are a good... more

After hearing so much about the place on message boards and reviews, I was excited to get the chance to go to Aquaventure as a shore excursion through a cruise I took recently. General comments - When we arrived, the water park was much smaller than I anticipated and it seemed as if there were only a total of eight... more

May 2008 - I have never experienced anything like this. I thought this would be a nice float on a lazy river and it turned out to be the most exciting adventure. You get on a tube (they have single and double tubes) and go on an amazing ride through tunnels, caves, white water rapids and a wave area. You... more
