This was a shore excursion booked on Holland of America. It was $25 each and we got good value for money. However, the woman who received us was very difficult to understand and we kept having to ask for repeat explanations. We were provided with a snorkel & mask, inflatable vest, water shoes and squid bait to feed the rays.... More

I went on a Bahamas cruise recently, spending an overnight in Nassau and was looking for fun things to do. Activities, tours, etc. Of course the cruise line had things to offer, but I wanted to go on my own and find something outside of the cruise ship offerings. That's how i found the company Best On Bahamas (bestonbahamas.com). They... More

Our family, two adults and 3 kids (9, 11, 13) booked this excursion through our cruise line. It seemed well priced ($79 per person). But like others noted, the majority of our time was spent in lines waiting to board our boat to take us to/from the island, on the boat itself, or in line at customs waiting to reboard... More

This island is now called Balmoral with Carnival cruise line. After getting off boat we were herded like cattle to the beach area to find a chair. The guides took us all into the caged/netted off area for the stingrays and treated us like a production line. Each participant got 1 min to hold the stingray and have the photographer... More

We were at Half Moon Cay with Holland America on December 27,2013, and decided to book this excursion through Holland America. The cost was $49.90/person. Our guide was Felicity (I think!), and it was a great experience. They give you snorkel gear, life vest and water shoes to use. We got time at first to swim around in the area,... More

Blackbeard's has now brought in dolphins for a captive program (bad enough the captive sting rays). Some were wild caught, chased down and netted by speed boats ripping from their families and pods, and some came from other dolphin torture chambers. The pens are very small and shallow and the next hurricane that comes through will most likely kill them.... More

This was a shore excursion booked on Carnival Cruise ship 12-22-2012. I will tell you it was not expensive $35.00 per person for one hour. They provide a wealth of information about stingrays. They provided snorkel & mask, inflatable vest, water shoes and squid bait to feed the rays. You are allowed about 20 mins. of free swim time with... More

the stingray experience was one that my grandsons really enjoyed and they had alot of interaction with the stingrays, the staff was very knowledgable and helpful and I do feel like it was worth the money. the boys would probably do the experience again if it was offered on another island and i would definitely recommend the experience. it was... On a Royal Caribbean cruise and natter the Dolphin adventure went to the Stringray Adventure. A bit crowded but our Captain and guide were terrific and really knew the sandbar. After gathering in a circle and chiming the water a little and then the rays started coming in. Feed them some squid and they are al over you, sucking up... More
