Beach is not rocky, but has a lot of seaweed. Breezes cleans it up in the morning so it was never an issue. One cool thing is you can see stingrays swimming in the water every now and then. It's not full of hustlers like other Caribbean beaches I've been to. People are super friendly and I really have no... More

Loved cable beach. Beautiful white sand and great swimming.. The local beach vendors were friendly but not pushy.. Anthony gives the best ocean side massages.. Look for him..

We have been staying on Cable Beach since 1978. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Numerous hotels and soon to be finished is the Baha Mar. (Google it). Buses run into downtown Nassau every 15 minutes for a little over a dollar, a person. There is also a casino on Cable Beach so you don't have to... More

I thought it was too far from town, but not at all. With bus fare only $1.25, and as frequently as they run, and as "touristy" as downtown is, Cable Beach is great. Shops, dining, and a grocery store are within walking distance.

Not a huge beach, but relatively clean and enjoyable. Wonderful view and calm water make for a very relaxing experience.

We didn't win but we just like to add the slots to our trips to Nassau... The hotel was under construction and they did't allow us to use their beach or pool (unless we paid a lofty fee).

We stay at the breezes and this is right on cable beach. In the swimming area I've seen turtles and sting rays and every fish you can imagine. On top of great snorkeling the vendors don't bother you unless you're interested in something. Also has a great cigar vendor most days we were on the beach and there is always... More

This beach located at Nassau, Bahamas. The Atlantic Ocean is so breath taking, the light teal blue waters are so warm with a gentle waves. You can see straight down to the bottom in most places. The Sand is whiteish tan & so soft. They really do a great job at keeping it clean here. The natives to this lovely island... More
