The place is nice and quiet. Cloister is mostly original and the setting makes it look nicer (as it was moved here from Europe). It is nice to walk around . I wasn't amazed but it's nice.

My husband and I travelled with a ship, with another traveller named Keith43's advice (who is also on tripadvisor), we had a great day in Nassau, Bahamas, thank you Keith! We took (minivan) taxi right off the pier to Atlantis Resort, $4 per person. We toured a little bit there and ask the route to the Cloisters at the reception... More

Brought to the Bahamas in the 60's these ruins are now carefully maintained. The grounds are gorgeous, peaceful and definitely worth a walk.

A very beautiful place to take photographs especially if you were getting married or having a birthday party here. It's only a small ruin but well kept by the PI staff, not sure if I would want to make a special trip from the main island to see it but if you are in a taxi to Atlantis then get... More

Interesting that someone bought this old ruin from France to the Bahamas but it's about 5 mins of entertainment. Once you have taken a photo that's it - nothing else to see or do . Not what I would call a major attraction , worth a look if your driving past it but don't make a special trip to see... More

Everyone who goes to Paradise should take the time to explore the Cloisters. Beautiful place for a wedding or picnic.

My husband and I were exercising and came upon the Cloisters. We have been to Paradise Island at least a dozen times but never walked that far. In 2010 we had a destination wedding in Cable Beach and after seeing the Cloisters, I wish I had know about it years ago. It's lovely. But be careful on the steps -... More

Beautiful architecture on the water. We like to go there for a picnic lunch and let the kids run around. They like to play hide and seek in the cloisters. Neat place to hang out at for a quiet relaxing atmosphere (unless I'm there with my kids running around like banshees!) Also, an awesome picture spot for professional shots.

We walked to the Cloisters and gardens from the Comfort Suites Hotel one morning. It is about a half mile up the road. Although the Cloisters and gardens are beautiful the area is pretty small and not worth going out of your way for. It is a nice run or walk if you want to get away from the crowds.... More
