This church was established in the 1600s, so it is steeped in rich history. Take a moment to peek inside when you are in Nassau - it is well worth it. The stone is locally quarried, and the stained class is very impressive. More on our travel blog at: goo.gl/lbxWoL

It was beautiful. Doors were open just walked on in. It makes you feel small. It makes you speechless. There is a place to make a donation if you choose which we did.

We stop here in our stroll through downtown Nassau. The building was charming, reminded us of Europe. Beautiful stain glass windows. Also a really calming place to take a break in the hot weather.

Yesterday, we drove from Paradise Island to visit Christ Church Cathedral. The "Mother Church" of all Anglican churches in the Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos, this beautiful historic monument has a long rich history spanning back as far as the 1670s. We were awe-struck by the amazing stained glass windows. It's a super quick, but well worth the time,... More

This cathedral was so beautiful. It is very old and full of history. The Queen of England still visits this cathedral. It is so full of amazing woodwork and the stained glass is awesome. You should do this when in Nassau, Bahamas. Don't just see the fancy tourist attractions.

This wonderful old colonial-era church has a beautiful interior and offers fascinating glimpses into the life and times of colonial Bahamas. The interior is immaculate, with a post and beam roof overhead and white-washed walls. Around the interior are many memorial plaques set into the walls and each tells a story of death and loss. Seaman who went to sea... More

Walk the extra 3 whole blocks and check out Christ Church Cathedral. It looks very unassuming on the outside with it's white washed facade, but inside it is full of beautiful woodworking, stained glass, and history. It's less than 5 minutes from the tourist strip of shops, but a world away.

We stopped in here during a walk through the downtown Nassau area before boarding our cruise ship for another destination. There was so much history in this little church. Just beautiful to walk through and experience.
