A very nice, simple church with a beautifully light roof structure..

Be sure to read the memorials on the walls - some excellent and amusing examples.. Seems a lot of people disappeared at sea..

The cathedral is one of points of interest in Nassau, but don´t expect too much of it. As it is close to the sea and main street, you can have a break there, for a quiet prayer or just to sit down for a while.

It was the meeting point for our tour. We had a chance for meditation and prayer. Nicely decorated, quiet and peaceful.

We didn't do the tour of this Church but it was beautiful from the outside. If you happen to go by, snap some pictures.

When traveling, I always enjoy visiting the local churches in the area. This church is beautiful inside. It is an old, architectural dwelling that offers an interesting opportunity to capture the beauty and serenity of this church. A great photo opportunity and overall great family activity.

We decided to walk through the town of Nassau. While doing so we found the Christ Church Cathedral. It is supposedly the oldest church in all of the Bahamas. It's quite a lovely church with stain glassed windows and an organ. There was a plaque explaining how certain members died, lost at sea, a disease and so on. It was... More

Spent about 15 minutes walking through this cathedral while waiting for a tour that was leaving from there. Stop in and see the numerous memorials built into the wall that tell the interesting stories of the demise of various persons. From cholera to being lost at sea, it made for some interesting reads.

We have seen the cathedral before, but on this visit were fortunate to be able to go inside. The picture on the stained glass windows are very beautiful.

My fiancée and I stopped to visit this church while waiting to go on a food tour and we're really glad we came here. It's a beautiful church with an interesting history. It's very peaceful inside the building (despite being right next to the pirate museum) and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nassau who enjoys history and... More

This is a well maintained church, both on the outside and the inside. The organ is very pretty. Other than that, there is not much to see.
