A must! Whether lunch or dinner, be sure to try the conch(salad , fritters or 'cracked')..the best cracked conch on the island can be found at King's on the western end.

The fish fry at Arawak Cay was a quick walk form our hotel and was a fun. Placebo go for drinks and dinner we ate at several places over the week we had in Nassau, we liked Twin Brothers the best. Try the whole fried Red Snapper.

We stopped in Nassau Bahamas on 4/5/2012 from an NCL cruise and based on reviews we read of Arawak Cay we were determined to go there for some authentic cuisine. We walked from the cruise terminal at a leisurely pace it took a bit over 20 minutes. We got there around 1pm and it was empty...we thought everything was closed.... More

We visited Oh, Andrus in April 2012. We took the #10 bus from Bay St in downtown Nassau -- very easy. We ordered the seafood combination platter with grouper, lobster, shrimp, rice and peas and mac & cheese. We also ordered the conch fritters and the wings. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

This is the place to join Nassauvians at table especially in the evenings. Beautiful it isn't; colourful it is. Food is simple and generally honest; ask around for where the best places are to eat (al fresco preferably).

Lots of fish fry restaurants at Arawak Cay. Visited the Two Brothers for lunch one day. Found the restaurant to be a bit over rated. Everything was fine but service was slow.

Every time we go we try a different restaurant. We look for fresh fish or conch salad and cheap drinks.

Twin brothers and Oh Andros were the resturants recommended to us, but you have so many to choose from. within 7 mins of the Hilton

I followed the lonely planet's advise and went to the stall with the longest queue of locals and had a good lunch with more than I could eat for $3 whilst sitting chatting to some locals on the benches. After hearing the disappointment from some fellow visitors who instead went to one of the larger fixed restaurants I was so... More
