Learn how to sort, clean, store and roll a cigar – at the Graycliff Cigar Company, you can become a torcedore in a few hours. The lesson begins with the history of tobacco, where the best leaves come from, and why you blend certain leaves together to make the award winning Graycliff cigars. Once you’ve mastered the art, you’ll sample a variety of world renowned rums from the Bahamas’s own Bacardi to other Caribbean rums - Mount Gay and Barbacourt, and many more. The Graycliff Cigar Company began production in January 1997 in Nassau, The Bahamas. What then began as a single roller in the restaurant entrance way has now expanded to an award winning boutique Cigar Company with 16 master rollers, each an expert in their various format. « less

A very interesting introduction to cigars , the tour shows the whole process from a pile of leaves in a storage bin to the finished selection in the store. You can watch or have a go at rolling your own cigar , there are English speaking and Spanish speaking staff so you can ask questions to the Cuban rollers. Nice... More

This small chocolate shop and factory is a good place to try truffles. We didn't come in time to get a tour. The shop and facility close early like the rest of shops on the island. The two females attending to the counter were pleasant and helpful. We bought two chocolates. Both options were abundantly flavorful and not overly sweet.... More

What a fun experience. In addition to viewing the cigars being made by hand, we toured the wine cellar and had a tasting. It was beautiful and the wine collection was astounding. This is a great getaway from the commercial attractions of Cancun beach life.

Great property with unique furnishings. What an awesome place to relax and be away from the beach crowds. Free cigars, rum tasting and tour. Also received a bottle of rum to bring home. Staff was friendly and informative. Watching the cigars being rolled and pressed was very interesting. These are actually hand rolled cigars! Great time if you are interested... More

For about 20 months, the Graycliff Chocolate Factory has been producing chocolate. They also host visitors by giving folks a tour that shows each of the steps required to go from a cacao bean to wonderfully delicious chocolate. After the basic tour, every person was given a cup of chocolate and dipped their own marshmallow treats (they make their own... More

Keke Thank you for a great birthday. I wanted to do the tour and candy making for my birthday. I had so much fund and you made me feel very comfortable. I learned so much about making chocolate, polishing candy molds and dipping fruit and marshmallows. I would recommend this activity to anyone.

Incredible property, you don't necessarily have to book anything in advance, just enjoy wandering around the grounds, check out the cigar, as well as the chocolate factory, and perhaps a drink or two, as well as a very reasonably priced pizza lunch in the restaurant. You'll feel like you've been transported to another world once you enter the gardens! Very... More

Graycliff employees are the best. They take the time to make sure you know where you are and where you're going. Don't forget the John Watling Rum tour. It's just up the street and worth the sniff, taste, and time.

Stop by and try out the Graycliff chocolates (love the pastilles in a prescription bottle!) as they are both a nice pure sample of the chocolate and not quite as expensive as the artistic pieces. The $10 "tour" is an over-priced walk around the kitchen where a kind young lady gestures at non-functioning equipment. Imagine someone walking you around and... More

Did the chocolate factory tour as an excursion from our cruise, our guide Kiki (or keekee) was fan-tas-tic!!!learned all the steps in their chocolate making process and got to make some goodies of our own. It is a great experience and a MUST DO if you are a chocolate lover. Thinking I will do it again on my next Nassau... More
