Owner description: Cigar Rolling with Rum tasting at the Graycliff Cigar Company. Learn how to sort, clean, store and roll a cigar – at the Graycliff Cigar Company, you can become a torcedore in a few hours. The lesson begins with the history of tobacco, where the best leaves come from, and why you blend certain leaves together to make the award winning Graycliff cigars. Once you’ve mastered the art, you’ll sample a variety of world renowned rums from the Bahamas’s own Bacardi to other Caribbean rums - Mount Gay and Barbacourt, and many more. The Graycliff Cigar Company began production in January 1997 in Nassau, The Bahamas. What then began as a single roller in the restaurant entrance way has now expanded to an award winning boutique Cigar Company with 16 master rollers, each an expert in their various format.

This tour may seem like it costs a little too much. Far from the truth, this is an awesome way to get a behind the scene look at an long lost art. Not to mention the grounds of graycliff. This place is nestled in the hillside of Nassau, a short but uphill walk from the docks. Well worth it. Make... More

I couldn't find a listing for the Chocolate factory tour at Graycliff, so it goes here. We visited Graycliff as a shore excursion from a cruise ship. Great tour, very informative and surprisingly family friendly. We were a little hesitant about taking our 7 and 9 yr old with us here, but the tour was fantastic and they enjoyed it... More

We had heard that Graycliff chocolates were delicious so we decided to find out for ourselves. We were on a cruise ship and were able to walk to the chocolate factory. It is up the hill so if you have any trouble walking you might opt for a taxi. The factory is small but they make great quality candy. We... More

Thanks to Maureen who helped me set this up for a surprise for my husband's... More

The Graycliff is a resort hotel in Nassau that offers several other side businesses. One of the most recent is the Graycliff Chocolate Factory. The offered tour was very intimate and thorough as we were able to witness all steps of the chocolate making process from the cocoa beans to the finished product. It was hard to have will power... One of our stops in Nassau. What a beautiful stop. tour guide was excellent And he was very informative about the hotel it was built in 1740 by the pirate John Graysmith. this hotel offers genuine Caribbean hospitality and in 1973 we found out the mansion was turned into a hotel and restaurant. Our guide also informed us that the... More

We visited Graycliff Chocolate Factory as part of an excursion with Disney Cruise Line. Well worth the money in my opinion. Loved seeing the factory itself and the tour was very imformative and FUN. You have several items to take home in a really nice little box. Just a heads up...it is perfectly fine to take these items home with... More

On a rare rainy day in Nassau, we decided to take four young children (age 2 to 5) to a chocolate making class at Graycliff. The staff could not have been more accommodating, and obviously excited to have young visitors to teach. Our guide and instructor, CeeCee, was wonderful. We also met Geo, the chocolatier, and toured the whole facility... More

Walking through Graycliff is beautiful and worth the trip. The general cigar tour is free and lasts about 5 minutes. The staff was great and hung around the answer any questions. They didn't get pushy about buying cigars either. But.....if an experience is what you want, go to the chocolate factory! The tour is $10 per person and well worth... More
