Description: Cigar Rolling with Rum tasting at the Graycliff Cigar Company. Learn how...
Cigar Rolling with Rum tasting at the Graycliff Cigar Company. Learn how to sort, clean, store and roll a cigar – at the Graycliff Cigar Company, you can become a torcedore in a few hours. The lesson begins with the history of tobacco, where the best leaves come from, and why you blend certain leaves together to make the award winning Graycliff cigars. Once you’ve mastered the art, you’ll sample a variety of world renowned rums from the Bahamas’s own Bacardi to other Caribbean rums - Mount Gay and Barbacourt, and many more. The Graycliff Cigar Company began production in January 1997 in Nassau, The Bahamas. What then began as a single roller in the restaurant entrance way has now expanded to an award winning boutique Cigar Company with 16 master rollers, each an expert in their various format.

You can smell it before you see it! This place reeks of cigars, which is good or bad depending on personal preference! Still fascinating to see them hand-roll cigars, and cut and glue labels on the finished product. Not much of a tour as it is just stand and stare... If you are a cigar lover this would be your... For my husband's 30th birthday, we cruised to Nassau. I had been a few times before and was looking to do something new. That is where I ran across the Graycliff Cigar Company. Our party included my parents, his parents, and my aunt. The men of the party are fans of special occasion cigars, so the opportunity to tour and... More

Perhaps I was on a different tour then those that had such a great time with the cigar rolling. While the cigar rolling itself was a fun experience our overall experience was subpar. When we arrived, no one even knew why we were there. After some quick instructions on how to get to the cigar factory area of the property,... More

Graycliff is a small hotel; chocolate store; cigar factory and restaurant/bar all in one. The property is very inviting and peaceful and each area is separate enough so as not to run together. The cigar rolling tour is informative and interesting. They roll approximately 500 cigars a day by hand. Graycliff was part of a private tour of the island... More

My boyfriend just recently started smoking cigars and had purchased a Greycliff cigar prior to our cruise and loved it. I found out they had lessons and that sealed it we just had to do this. We didn't have reservations so we went up to the factory that morning to make reservations for the afternoon(we had another tour to do... More

We stopped at Graycliff to purchase cigars. The grounds were stunning, I recommend leaving time to walk around them. It made me wish we had stayed at this property for a night or two. The cigar factory was neat, although we did not do the tour. They had a good cigar selection and some really beautiful jewelry and other trinkets... More

If you are a cigar afficianado or just want to know more about them, visit this great setting, have a drink / or also check out the chocolate factory and store. Worth a visit.

This tour may seem like it costs a little too much. Far from the truth, this is an awesome way to get a behind the scene look at an long lost art. Not to mention the grounds of graycliff. This place is nestled in the hillside of Nassau, a short but uphill walk from the docks. Well worth it. Make... More

I couldn't find a listing for the Chocolate factory tour at Graycliff, so it goes here. We visited Graycliff as a shore excursion from a cruise ship. Great tour, very informative and surprisingly family friendly. We were a little hesitant about taking our 7 and 9 yr old with us here, but the tour was fantastic and they enjoyed it... More

We had heard that Graycliff chocolates were delicious so we decided to find out for ourselves. We were on a cruise ship and were able to walk to the chocolate factory. It is up the hill so if you have any trouble walking you might opt for a taxi. The factory is small but they make great quality candy. We... More
