07/23/2014 Before my family of four booked our excursion, I did a lot of research. Sandy Toes had GREAT reviews & the price was reasonable (in comparison to the other options). But, I have to say, I was disappointed. The catamaran took about 45-1hr to get us to the island. Beautiful scenery. When we got to the island our tour... More

Hi Lacey, thanks for your feedback. We just wanted to point out that no where does it mention this is a kayaking excursion (the activity is available for a rental fee of just $10.00 for the whole day, along with tubes respectively at $5.00 as an additional amenity to you, our guest) and/or just snorkeling, but rather as activities available... This excursion is just the right amount of time - 45 min boat ride each way, an hour snorkeling, a couple of hours free beach time and a good lunch. Only the constant loud music was a drawback, especially on the boat and at the bar.

Thanks for the feedback! Music levels noted as some people prefer a little softer, some a little louder :) Just let our staff know! Sandy regards, The Sandy Toes Team More

This one has a great view. The beach and the water is amazing. They took us to the island in a boat. The guide was a funny man. I forgot his name, but I remember him asking us to call himself 'big sexy', just as he wanted us to. There is not a lot to do at the island, actually... More

After looking at a number of day trips available from Nassau/Paradise Island, We decided to try the SandyToes excursion to Rose Island. From booking to getting off the boat at the end of the day, everything is professional, well planned, organized and thoughtfully executed. The boat ride was relaxing enough (for a boat full of tourists), a rum punch drink... More

This was well worth our money and gave us a chance to see more of The Bahamas. Our bus did run a little late picking us up. We were scheduled to be picked up at 930 but I think it was closer to 10am. The Harbor tour was fun along the way and very informative and got to see celebrity... More

Thank you so much for your review! We just wanted to mention the comment about the transfers, if it runs a couple minutes early or late, don't worry :) The way it works is that the transfer company could be going to a few other hotels first and if they are a few extra minutes assisting the guests, than that... After a scenic boat ride, we arrived on Rose Island and made for a hammock under the trees. Sandy Toes is ideal for locals who want to get away and tourists who want to have a good time while soaking in the sun, sand and sea. You're offered a free lunch and can purchase a drink plan ahead of time.... More

Great ambiance when you get there. Drinks are great and it's just money to go out on the beach and just take in the whole Rose Island experience. The Sandy Toes Olympics are always a scream!!!

My girlfriend and i decided to have a full day excursion with Sandy Toes. So far this was the great experience we had despite of having lots of photos and videos with our go pro :) For the amount of $170 you'll have the hotel pick up/drop off and a short boat trip for about 25-30 mins heading to their... A short 30 minute boat ride from Paradise Island is Rose Island. Along the way our tour guide, who had the handle, "Big Sexy", pointed out the numerous celebrity homes including Oprah, Tiger Woods, Mike Jordan etc. Although the weather wasn't great on the way out the ride was relatively smooth. Rose Island has some of the finest sand I... More

Thank you for your review! Please understand that the reef is wild and there are no barriers or cages to trap or contain animals in a certain spot. This by far was the best excursion for the money on out trip to Atlantis. The staff was great Stephen was so helpful and friendly to our son Nick when we went snorkeling. I would defiantly recommend the 10am to 3:45pm day excursion. Do not bring anyone who has trouble walking as any active person can handle the stairs but... More
