My friend and I took the trip to Rose Island/Sandy Toes. We had a wonderful day! The beach there is beautiful. The snorkeling is just great! We enjoyed the lunch very much. There is not a lot of shade on the beach so when you get there make a beeline for the beach and claim one of the few shady... More

I've been on the Sandy Toes trip a few times, first in 1999, then 2009. Most recently a couple of days ago. It used to be run by a guy who I assume was the owner. Perhaps he's retired now and the business sold-on because the service has dropped through the floor. The boat crew were a little harsh while... More

Been on many island excursions over the years but this was the first for our 16 and 17 yo girls. We were all very pleased with the concept and execution. The staff as well, tries very hard to please and has a great attitude. One of the better trips of this sort I've experienced.

Well, there is not much too say.The trip to this little island was wonderful. The water was crystal clear blueish and greenish and the sand was so white. Snorkeling was for free, you just hat to deposit 10$ you got back after returning your gear. The food was good, too. And everyone got a welcome drink either with or without... More

On our second to last trip, we went to Rose Island as part of the Sandy Toes excursion. For $79 per person, Sandy Toes will ferry you Rose Island (about a 40 minute trip), give you a short informative tour of opposite sides of the harbor (Paradise Island & Nassau) in a glass bottom boat. When you arrive at Rose... More

All went according to plan. The boat was in good shape, no issues. The host 'Big Sexy' provided a good narration on the way out. While the island location was nice, I wouldn't qualify it as anything extraordinary. Basically good, clean beach, and seaweedless swimming. The snorkeling was just OK but in fairness, I've really had the luxury of seeing... More

We would invite you to look at our similar response below and we'd like to reiterate - Sandy Toes is not meant to be a lavish and red carpet experience. Just okay experience. Kind of paid to go to another beach when i could have just stayed at the private beach by my hotel. I mean, it WAS beautiful, but all beaches in Bahamas are. Food ok- buffet style- not terrific. Snorkeling was just so-so. didnt see many reefs or fish for that matter, but it was something to do.

I booked with Sandy Toes through a former colleague I went to school with who now works for them and I do not regret anything about it. We were whisked away on a boat to this beautiful private island by very sweet and knowledgeable staff who told me about the mansions we passed as well as history of the area.... More

Hi John! Thank you for your review! Although it sounds like you actually took part in our sister company's excursion (Hermit Crab Tours) the Sunday Party Pass, we thank you for your outstanding review to the property of Sandy Toes! Our normal day excursion is much more chill and laid back, while the Sunday trip is lively and social and... More

This is a good value considering it includes lunch. Snorkeling was great especially during the fish feeding.

Thank you for your review! The fish feedings are really cool to watch - we feed the reef everyday to keep the wildlife hanging around and ready for their next lunch! TIP - If you can pick up an extra Banana at breakfast from your hotel, the fish LOVE it! Sandy regards, The Sandy Toes Team More

We had booked this excursion July/2014 the boat that was scheduled to pick us up was not in good condition. Sandy Toes knew we had children so I would've thought they had better boats. As we were leaving the port for this excursion the boat got stranded in the middle of the beach. The captain kempt calling for help but... More

We are sorry but this was this not the scheduled "Sandy Toes" excursion as your cruise port times did not coincide with our excursion times. We are also sorry that the private third party boat hired to transport you at your specially requested times experienced a mechanical in the harbour, next to your cruise ship. This was beyond the captain... More
