We've been to the Bahamas a number of times and wanted to do a beach excursion for the day. Sandy Toes - Rose Island fit the bill perfectly. Nice ferry ride over to the island. (Note: Be on time. The ferry does NOT come back to get you.) Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The white sandy beaches were clean... More

For an excursion, I would highly recommend going to Sandy Toes Beach. You take a short boat ride over to Rose Island and have a beach to yourself (and whoever is on the excursion – maybe 30 people altogether). The beach is pristine, there is a bar, a “hammock garden”, kayaking, snorkeling, and beach-side massages. Even though you have four... More

Just came back from Bahamas, its a wonderful country. However, Sandy Toes needs some minor improvements. The Pros, ferry ride is great, the beach is nice white sandy, but the waves were harsh. Cons, its pricy, not much to do, other than sun tan, hammock, and drink at their bar. Island is limited

This was a great trip we took while on Paradise Island. The cost/value was exceptional, particularly when you compare it to the cost of a 30-minute snorkel within Atlantis. Ferry terminal is convenient to Atlantis. The trip out to the island was smooth and provides some history of the island as well as a great view of the multi-million dollar... More

Just not really worth the money to go snorkeling and have to pay for your drinks at a cash bar. Huge waste of time and money as I could have snorkeled at my resort and drink for free...expected more

The Sandy Toes excursion was one of the best parts of our stay in the Bahamas. It was an excellent way to spend a day, we spent it in the water with locally made cocktails. The lunch buffet was also great!

Nice boat rides out and back. About 4 hours on the island, with lunch and snorkeling included, so just the right amount of time. The snorkelled 'reef' is a little basic but very accessible from the shore so ideal for the novice or modest swimmer. Good value and recommended.

The tour was very good. Very relaxing. They have hammocks and swings inside just off the beach which makes it feel so secluded. The beach is bful. They have a beach bar which has reasonable priced drinks. The lunch buffet is pretty good. The staff is very friendly. Do go..!!
