Honestly this is one of the most spectacular places I've ever visited! It's looks like a post card. You can walk from one side of the island to the other. The beach is beautiful and white and the water is crystal clear. We took a private yacht over and spent the day lounging and paddle boarding. It was incredible.

After a rip off "Sub" tour the day before over a dead reef Sandy Toes was a pleasant relief. No “extras” except booze, great lunch. The highlight was a small nice reef right at the dock. You didn’t even have to know how to swim, furnished mask, snorkel and water wings. Knockout beach on one side, reef on the other.... More

My wife and I choose this trip after we reviewed the Sandy Toes printed brochure. We specifically liked the snorkeling tour, private secluded beach and soft adventure features. The boat ride was great both ways. The boat captain (sorry didn't get his name) and crew of Morgan and Steve were nice guys. The short activity explanation meeting on the island... More

Dear DonBerb Thank you for your submission. We will reply to your comments one by one. 1) Your overall comments seem rather pleasant - service, beach, staff, facilities - thank you for that. 2) Snorkeling - unfortunately we don't have any control over the weather or tidal activity. We've had extremely rough weather (wind, seas, cold fronts) over the past... More

Regardless of what activities you may do at Sandy Toes, it is a truly gorgeous beach - such a nice (and quick! About 25 min) getaway from Atlantis/downtown Nassau. If you go snorkeling here, you'll see some great stuff - starfish, sea urchin, conch, and more. Deb and the rest of the staff ensure you have an awesome, fun time... More

A great way to spend 6 or so hours in the Bahamas. For about $90 per person, you get a 30 minute boat trip to Rose island, home to a quiet beach complete with chairs, hammocks, a coral reef, and opportunities to play volleyball, rent a kayak, enjoy a massage, or sip drinks at the bar. The lunch was very... More

Hi Greg and thank you for your words! What a great review thank you for touching on many of our different service and amenities but most important, to note that YES there are stairs that you have to navigate and could be difficult for some persons who aren't able. Our one day excursion to Sandy Toes was the highlight of out trip. The crew is charming and the beach is utterly beautiful. We could not have asked for a nicer or more cost effective one day excursion. The trip is not too crowded and there is also a great barbecue lunch. No hidden costs. The only drawback is the... More

Hi! Thanks for your feedback! Oh gosh, we are sorry you felt that way about the reef - usually the reviews are great and colours bright and fish and sea life plentiful! We will follow up with the island staff to see if there were any inconsistencies that day. Thanks for coming and hope to see you back again! Sandy... More

We booked this day long excursion (9am-4pm) through our hotel (Melia) for $100 per person. They picked us up at the hotel and took us to the boat by Margaritaville on Paradise Island. The crew was fantastic! We got a short tour of the surrounding islands on the 30 minute boat ride to Rose Island. Once there, we got one... More

Sandy Toes is a fantastic one day boat excursion to isolated Rose Island which features phenomenal private beaches, island drinks, BBQ, hammocks, and snorkeling. The grilled wings with local Bahamian hot sauce was so good. While on the island you can venture off to explore, stay and party at the bar or work on that tan at one of the... More

So this review is a little unique since we didn't just day trip to rose island, we were lucky enough to book the villa here on the island. First, the staff: Iola, SJ, Deb, Morgan, Steven and everyone else whose name I cannot remember: this staff is AWESOME. They genuinely care about their guests and it shows. They go out... More
