We visited Blue Lagoon Island on May 19th 2015 as a part of an excursion through Disney Cruise Line. We were a party of 7 ages ranging from 8 to 68. Two teenagers. The staff who greeted us off the ship were very friendly and engaging. Escorted us to the ferry boat. The ride from Nassau/Straw Market to the Lagoon... More

Attraction is set up for tourist from cruise ships. They offer transfer service from cruise to the boat that takes you to the island. Offers several packages from swimming with dolphins, to island exploring.

Took a trip with the family. Once there they just try to sell you everything under the sun at a overpriced cost. Lunch was included and was pretty good. Swimming in the lagoon was just a big kiddie pool with the water no deeper than 3 feet. Get there early or you may not get a chair to sit on.

We booked this excursion with 8 friends and we all left feeling the same way. The beach was pretty and definitely not crowded, but we were disappointed that the $76/pp we paid for the excursion only provided the boat transportation to the island, chairs, minor flotation devises and an overcook lunch with ice tea. There were kayaks, water cycles, and... More

Gorgeous place, water is beautiful and not too deep in most areas, food was decent. My 9 year old had a blast. I am knocking one star off for the cost. At first it's not that expensive but if you want to play with the floaties or any of the water toys, you have to pay. My kid, of course,... More

This island in the Bahamas is not only beautiful but less crowded. The drinks were real drinks, not the weak ones on board ship. The food was also good. If you want a nice excursion from the ship ( in this case the Norwegian Gem), this is the place to go.

We were advised by our hotel to take the first ferry in order to beat the cruise ship excursions which arrive around 11:00. We left our hotel at 7:45 at took a van to the dock ($9). We could have just walked from the Hilton, but we didn't know that initially. The beach day costs $65 per person which you... More

This is a beautiful place to experience a swim or encounter with dolphins, encounter with sea lions or just go to a different beach and enjoy the different play areas that they have. I watched my wife swim with the dolphins for approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes which was worth every penny. We also enjoyed the 40 minute boat... More
