This was the highlight of our cruise. What friendly , helpfull, caring staff the owners have assembled here. The bar person was called Yvette and she was awesome at her job and went out of her way to decribe life living in the bahamas. My wife and I were moved to even look at buying a place out there based... more

Recently took the family on a little cruise to Nassau. Wanting to take a breather from all the onboard crowds and the bustle of this little colonial town, we decided to take in a beach day on Blue Lagoon Island. After a boat ride to the island, we traveled through a narrow passage and arrived at the most stunning little... more

I wanted to do ‘something extraordinary’ for my rapidly growing sons. They were ‘that’ age, 18, 17 & 14, three guys that were pretty hard to impress. Having been to Nassau before, I was familiar with all the websites to help with travel arrangements and was excited to see that Dolphin Encounters on Blue Lagoon had some spots available in... more

We just cruised in mid September and would never do the Blue Lagoon Beach again. I was VERY appalled. We would definitely spend the money and do the Atlantis day instead. I'll answer your questions first and the elaborate. --Does the beach get crowded? Hard to find chairs? Beach was not crowded at all. There were maybe 4 or 5... more

We booked a beach day at Blue Lagoon and it was one of the best days of our vacation. We were staying at Atlantis and were overwhelmed by the crowds on the beach. we saw the brochure for the Blue Lagoon and decided to try it because it included lunch and beach equipment. We took a great ferry over (right... more

We booked the Blue Lagoon Beach Day because we have a two year old and she was too young to have a dolphin swim/encounter. My wife and I decided that since we would have to each do the dolphin swim alone, we would wait until our daughter was old enough so we could do it together. So, we booked the... more

We recently traveled to Paradise Island and stayed at the Royal Towers. After reading tips and reviews on this website, I decided to book the Dolphin swim at Blug Lagoon rather than doing the one at Atlantis. It was so worth it. Of course I haven't done the one at Atlantis so I cant compare but the trip to Blue... more

So I just got back from a cruise where we booked our own excursion through Dolphin Encounters. We did the early dolphin swim and stayed the rest of the day on the beach and rode the ferry back with the crew. So the dolphin swim...I debated doing it because it was rather expensive but decided that I didn't want to... more

We where torn between doing the dolphin push or using the same amount of money to see both the dolphins and the sea lions, in the end we chose opting out of the dolphin swim that includes the dolphin push and saw both the sea lions and the dolphins. The sea lions where awesome! I am so glad we got... more
