A well organised experience but feel very unsure about the merits of keeping dolphins captive like this.

This was supposed to be my fun-in-the-sun, tropical island, paradise get-a-way day. Mother nature did not feel same way. The weather cannot be controlled and I understand that so we had to make the best of it. It is a small area but the water was amazingly clear and there are several blow-up type of water activities for everyone. Note:... More

It was always my dream to swim with dolphins so as I was going to the Bahamas, I was looking for the best place to go to where you could swim with those amazing animals. I found out about Blue Lagoon Island by looking on the Internet and the pictures catch my attention straight away as it is a lovely... More

Visited this island during our port day in Nassau. When our ship Carnival Sensation docked for half a day in Nassau we had to choose between going to Blue Lagoon or Atlantis. We picked Blue Lagoon since we wanted to experience Nassau beautiful beaches that was always shown on tv. We booked through cruise.com and paid total of usd280 for... More

The water was literally crystal clear. You could see everything in the water. It is a lagoon so there is almost zero waves because it is blocked in and it was warm. The water was significantly warmer than Castaway Cay. The beach had shallow waters for the kids and a couple of spots where you could walk in 10ft and... More

Went to this Island thinking it was going to be peaceful. How wrong was we. First as you get this Island you are greeted by several other ferry loads of people. Then everyone is scrambling for a sunbed which you have no chance of getting unless you get the first ferry there. Yes it is a beautiful place but very... More

We visited Blue Lagoon as an excursion from a cruise to Nassau. We had a lovely day there, relaxing under the palm trees in the plentiful beach chairs. Make sure to bring your own towel as none are provided. Our excursion price included one float for the calm bay waters. It is worth asking if your's does too, as this... More

Nice little island. Food not so good but still a great place for a short visit. The water is clear and great for kids first snorkeling experience. Fun to see the dolphins too.

Great day tour Thirty minutes from Paradise island on a ferry boat. Perfect attraction for kids. The only problem is that you can not access the beach.

I once again had the opportunity to share with family an "up close and personal" experience with my Dolphin and sea lion friends at Blue Lagoon Island. Each time I visit, I learn more and more through the Island educational program about the magnificient creatures who grace the Island habitat. So many were injured in the wild and tenderly nursed...
