We visited here on a Disney cruise excursion and have been here in years past as well. The island and scenery are beautiful but it is so expensive. We paid over $100 a person for the dolphin encounter which my son hated it. He was 6 yrs old and terrified. To explore the beach is great, but drinks are expensive,... More

If you're on a Bahamas cruise and looking for other place to see/visit other than Atlantis, then go to the Blue Lagoon Island. It's a 45 minute boat ride from Nassau. It's worth the trip, boat ride was fun, the Islsnd is beautiful, not crowded, lots of things to do. You can even watch the Dolphins without paying extra. A... More

Atlantis is the biggest resort on Paradise Island and until (hopefully) the recently unopened yet bankrupt Bahamar does open, it is really the only game in town. I am currently staying at the Cove Atlantis, which although I like it, has no incentive to give great service due to the lack of competition. One thing I experienced on this trip... More

We did the full swimming with dolphins excursion. This was the most expensive option, it was brilliant. We swam, danced, hugged, kissed and were even propelled across the lagoon with the dolphins. We were in the water with them for about an hour and all the time, they smiled ..... it was unforgettable and you always felt the dolphins were... More

This is a first class experience. You are briefed in a outdoor classroom to learn about dolphins and ensure your experience will be a safe one. You are briefed again when you get to the water and the experience is simply fun & amazing. I also appreciated they let us take our own pictures.

Took the boat half hour ride to Blue Lagoon. We found the snorkeling beach and had our own snorkels and fins. There is limited seating in this area and no shade. The snorkeling was good. Afterwards we went to the lagoon type beach area where there were plenty of chairs and some shade. The water was good, lots of water... More

My husband and I went on a cruise in early 2014, Did blue lagoon as our excursion. We enjoyed it very much. Very relaxing and the lagoon was great. It's a short boat ride from the ship dockyard. I would go back to this place.

Great interaction for the whole family! We learnt lots about the Dolphins and it was great to get up close and personal with them. Today is what memories are made of!
