My husband and I went here on a excursion from our cruise ship and it was the best thing ever! The boat ride to the island was so much fun and once we got there we sat through a 15-20 minute class and then went straight in with the Dolphins. Our Dolphins name was Shawn and he was so much... More

Crusing on the Disney Dream for Thanksgiving and decided we had been to Atlantis one too many times so we booked this excursion. It was a great decision, the boat ride over to the island was bouncy but manageable. The island is beautiful with clear water, there is seaweed underneath which makes it look dark. The beach is rocky so... More

Spent the day here as a cruise ship excursion. We had beautiful weather and water was awesome on both side of the island. Chairs and shade were plenty, which I like at a beach. We bought a pina colada and relaxed in the hammocks. Walked the beach, read a book, ate lunch and had a great relaxing day. Staff was... More

We went to the Blue Lagoon island as part of the excursion off of our cruise ship. We were able to board the ferry to the Blue Lagoon island right off of the cruise ship terminal as part of our excursion package. The ferry ride took about half an hour. We booked only the beach day and not the dolphin... More

This was an excursion taken while on a cruise so there was a hefty fee for it. But the area is very nice. The sea-side beach was closed due to severe weather and rip-tides but swimming in the actual lagoon was very nice. The beach is expansive, with white sand and lots of chairs. The included lunch was just so-so.... More

If you are going to spend money on an excursion in the Bahamas, the dolphin swim (not the encounter) at Blue Lagoon is the way to go. You get a nice ferry ride to the island, the island is beautiful. The dolphin swim is amazing and was the best part of the trip. We got hugs, kisses, danced with them,... More

A well organised experience but feel very unsure about the merits of keeping dolphins captive like this.

This was supposed to be my fun-in-the-sun, tropical island, paradise get-a-way day. Mother nature did not feel same way. The weather cannot be controlled and I understand that so we had to make the best of it. It is a small area but the water was amazingly clear and there are several blow-up type of water activities for everyone. Note:... More

It was always my dream to swim with dolphins so as I was going to the Bahamas, I was looking for the best place to go to where you could swim with those amazing animals. I found out about Blue Lagoon Island by looking on the Internet and the pictures catch my attention straight away as it is a lovely... More
