We chose this excursion during our NCL cruise. The group being limited to only 10 participants was nice. Lockers and wetsuits provided at no additional charge if interested. After a quick individual photo op on the deck with one of sea lions, we all entered the water to stand on a platform submerged about 3-3.5 feet for the hands on... More

After seeing numerous positive reviews, I was looking forward to this activity. But the reviews may have raised my expectations much higher than the reality warranted. As a couple of other reviewers here noted, it seemed like the main purpose of the activity was just to provide photo ops so they could try and sell the photos/videos to us later.... More

My group decided to do the Sea Lion encounter while we were in the Bahamas as part of a cruise. I was not disappointed at all. When you first get there you go through an orientation where you learn about sea lions and ocean conservation. You then get to meet a sea lion on land and pose for pictures. You... More

My husband and I decided to book this encounter on our one day cruise stop at Nassau. It just happened to be the hubby's 34th birthday and he has a very specialize for otters- sea lions seemed close enough for us! Started off with an orientation and then posed for pictures with Kalika! Then we went into the water, standing... More

My son sent us on a cruise for mine and my husbands birthdays. The staff had so much information and it was such a nice place. We got to feed, pet and hang out with Bonnie. The staff also had Bonnie sing me happy birthday. It was awesome and we have to the video to last a lifetime. We bought... More

We had a wonderful experience interacting with the Sea lions. The staff was knowledgeable and interesting. They gave us instruction and information about the sea lions both in the wild and those cared for at the training facility. I was amazed to learn that sea lions actually live longer in captivity than in the wild. We had lots of interaction... More

This was the highlight of our trip. There was a small group of us. We got a tour of the facility before our swim. We got to pet, feed, and interact with Luna. The trainers answered all our questions and made the whole experience very enjoyable. The pictures were expensive. If I had known we could have brought our camera... More

I arranged a visit to the Sea Lion Encounter for my family. The boat ride to the lagoon was not long and enjoyed looking at the houses and the beautiful crystal clear water. There were only 10 people to see the sea lions, which I thought would give us a little more time with them. We had to sit through... More
