We just returned from a DCL 4 night bahamian cruise. It was every bit as great as we could have imagined...almost. Check-in was smooth even though it was little bit crowded and a tad chaotic. We had to go in one direction to find a porter to hand our luggage to (it was cold and windy) and then head in... more

Spent the day on lovely Castaway Cay Oct 30, 2009. We were a bit late being let off the ship, and we had the first reservation for the stingray adventure. Because of this, they skipped the 15 minute lecture/introduction and we went right out to the stingrays. It was great! Being the first group, the water was clear and not... more

My wife, son (11), daughter (9), and some friends just returned from the 4 day Bahamas cruise. I will start by stating that I was not as enthusiastic about this trip as usual. The reason is that I enjoy immersing myself in the culture of the places I visit which is why I am not a fan of all inclusive... more

We were on the DVC Member Cruise for 4 Days. Castaway Cay is a beautiful island. Great for families and for couples. The family beach is where we spent most of our time, due to the kids. It was fun, they have seperate sections for swimming and floats and one for snorkling. There is also an adults only area of... more

We did the 7 night Western cruise in September 09. Key West was fantastic (a place I'd love to go for for a longer holiday), Grand Caymen was good for shopping and Cozumel was a waste of time (Disney - go to the mainland!). Castaway Cay was the last stop before the end of the cruise. Very perfect island in... more

Disney certainly entertains and delivers first class service and accommodations all the way. Our cabin was very clean and somewhat spacious. Though the size of the cabin was smaller than a typical hotel room, every space available was utilized ergonomically and gave the area a roomier feel . The staff were definitely very attentive, hospitable and made us feel at... more

We had one day at Castaway on our 4-day Disney Wonder Cruise. We only went to the Family beach, so no info on the adult beach or biking. The island is very small and it would appear they are looking to expand. They should, it's very crowded and if they're building two new ships that sill have 50% more people,... more

Castaway Cay was very nice. Very long stand to swim out to snorkel but beautiful island. Atlantis in the Bahamas was great. You save $ by booking a $200 room at the Comfort Suites to get the wrist bands. With the wrist bands you can ride the water park attractions at Atlantis. The actual Disney Wonder was tight and very... more

We had never been on a cruise before so we didn't quite know what to expect with Castaway Cove but we really enjoyed it. We got on the beach first thing in the morning. The nice thing was that it ( early in the morning ) is really like having your own private island. We went further down on the... more

Just returned from the 4-day cruise on the Wonder and the service level was impeccable. They go out of their way to take care of their guests, which differentiates Disney from the rest. You may pay a bit more than you would on Carnival, but you get what you pay for - good food, excellent service, and a myriad of... more
