This was our first time traveling and in our party there was me (32 years old) and three kids (ages 11, 8, and 1). We had the deluxe veranda and LOVED it. It was a great size. Having the ability to use one bathroom to get ready while another was in the other bathroom area showering was great. Lots of... More

Beautiful little island with turquoise water. The water slides were fun for the kids and adults, they provide life vests for kids who want to go alone and may not be great swimmers. Lots of chairs and umbrellas for shade which was nice. The splash area and kids camp were a great way to drop the kids and get some... More

I would have thought that Disney would have done it better but they truly dissapointed me this time around. First off the food was awful! We ha a party of 14 and about 8 of us got sick from the beginning of the cruise until the end. We even had to go to the medic on the ship to get... More

The beach is beautiful, sand is soft and clean. The water is crystal clear and there were cute fish around. Why didn't I rate this beach excellent? Well, it has a strong current that pulls you back. I think it is the way the area was built that has to do with the current and the pull it has on... More

This was our 2nd Disney Wonder cruise. The first one we took about 3 years ago was excellent. However, we just returned from a 4 day cruise out of Miami. The food was horrible. My wife ordered fish two times and the second night she sent it back because it was overcooked and tasted like it had been boiled; not... More

First let me start by saying Disney has their own port so you will never miss a day at castaway cay and there are no long lineups to get ashore. We have been disappointed by OTHER cruise lines who have to "tender in" to port because of the water being too rough to use the life rafts to get you... More

Owned by Disney, has very nice sceneries. Also took a bike ride around the island. I suggest don't get the activity package and just pay separately. We prepaid the snorkel and the tubes that we did not use.It is crowded, but i think if you want some more privacy cabanas are the way to go. The sand was not as powdery... More

If you are a stay at home mom, have a busy husband and LOVE your kids, this is going to be the best vacations.... First of all, Disney Cruise is amazing, it is crowded, but it is like Disney...always crowded....so don't expect to be in a private island, if you expect to be alone, never go to any Disney Cruise!... My kids and even my elderly wheelchaired mother loved Castaway Cay! (there were big wheeled wheel chairs available for the sand that could be wheeled right into the water) There was plenty of umbrellas and shade for all, but if you're looking for a quiet area without music and less crowded - when you walk down the road from the... Castaway Cay is a beautiful Disney owned island accessible only by Disney Cruise ships. We traveled there April 12th and it was amazing. There are plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and beautiful white sand beaches. This was our fifth visit and we have never been disappointed. We have been to other beaches in the Caribbean and none are as well cared... More
