Another good choice.

Snorkel on the right side. Wide variety of fish. It gets deep and wavy as you turn toward Hawknest but manageable. More turtles at Hawknest Beach.

Spend your afternoon here for perfect snorkeling at the bay's edges to see colorful fish, coral, stingray. There is no more beautiful beach, great for families with children because of the soft waves and gentle slope of the beach. The beach is lined with beautiful shade trees so this was the perfect beach at Caneel Bay to end our day.

Quiet, charming and beautiful. Get a roomon this beach if possible. We were the only people here a couple days. No drink or food service but a good trade for quiet spot with great swimming, sunbathing, and views of channel.

This is a beautiful and quiet beach at the end of the Caneel Bay property. Although all the beaches on St. John is supposed to be accessible to public, this one would be difficult for someone to get to if you are not staying on the resort. It is at the far end of the resort behind the Turtle Bay... More

We took an excursion boat from St. Thomas to do some snorkeling in Turtle Bay. The water was perfectly clear and I got to see lots of beautiful fish and sea creatures; unfortunately, no turtles for me but others in my group saw them. Love this bay!

Although a little tricky to get to, this beach has a lot to offer. It's not very busy, and the views and snorkeling are great! The calm waters also made for a good place to let some young family members learn how to snorkel.

My wife and I were married on the beach at Turtle bay. The sunsets are absolutely amazing and the snorkeling around the south side of the southern rocks is world class. Paradise...

Not the clearest water but definitely the most peaceful. We saw many fishes and enjoyed being the only ones here.
