Along with all of the other ways St. John is wonderful, it is great because so much of it is National Park. But here is the weird part: unlike, say, Yellowstone, you don't really pay a fee somewhere to go in. So please. Stop by, take a hike, and cough up a little cash for this amazing resource. You won't... More

If you can sign up for this hike please do. You are taken to the trail head from visitors center, then guided by park volunteers down the trail. They will explain the island history, animals, plants, and sugar plantation ruins as you travel along. At the falls you will see petroglyph carvings and maybe have your lunch there. Last is arriving... More

Our goal this trip was to hike every trail on the island and the staff at the Visitor Center helped make this come true. We completed every trail in less than 5 days and man was it fun! I would recommend purchasing the $3 trail map. Not only is it a good may but the money goes to a good... More

Came by the visitor center while in St John. The visitor center has some displays to view and some hiking trails nearby. They also have restrooms...which is a plus when on vacation. Picked up a few souvenirs and had a great time.

This visitor center is located right next to the Cruz Bay Ferry area and in the heart of Cruz Bay next to the water. Clean and modern with maps and such.

Gorgeous new building with helpful staff, numerous handouts and easily accessed location. Visiting from sister island, St Croix, I bemoan our aging government run tourism facilities . Keep the national parks funded!

Upon entering there are numerous graphics in 2 and 3 D to aquaint the visitor to our National Park with numerous trails, beaches, and snorkling / scuba spots. Get your U.S. Park Passport stamped, talk with a ranger, browse the gift shop.

Great place to get information about STJ beaches , snorkeling sites and hiking trails. Reef bay trail offered via the center is a guided hike with a ranger that was very informative and enjoyable. Hike is all down hill with a petroglyph stop and a boat meets you at the end and returns to Vistors center.
