Another amazing St. John beach. Great long beach with 2 areas with good facilities in the middle section. There is a restaurant (and bar ;-)) here. There is privately run watersports desk. I rented a stand up paddleboard and had a blast. The water is calm so its pretty easy to stay up. Didn't snorkel here too much mainly sunning... More

We visited Cinnamon Bay on the last day of our trip and wished we would have had another day to go back. Walking in we saw several deer and an iguana. The water was beautiful. The day we visited was a bit windy which made snorkeling rough, but we saw several stingrays, including one near the shore. The best snorkeling... More

Cinnamon Bay, is absolutely amazing. This tropical paradise is probably tied with Trunk Bay as the most beautiful spots on the island, and is a perfect getaway of relaxation. I came to St. John with my family in April 2015, and more specifically, I came to Cinnamon Bay because I was staying at the Cinnamon Bay campground. So I had... More

Beautiful, long beach. Good snorkeling on the Eastern end near Maho Bay. Showers and washrooms with running water. Accommodation available (if you don't mind roughing it a bit). The concessions are operated by Caneel Bay. The only downside is that it is a bit of a drive from Cruz Bay.

Expansive views and perfectly warm ( but not TOO warm) water for swimming. A few families and some sunbathers scattered on the beach, but certainly not crowded at all. We brought our own beach chairs, towels and a cooler of water. They do have a concession stand for food and drink but we didn't avail ourselves to that. This is... More

Clear water, plenty of shaded areas, perfect white sand, bathrooms and water toys for rent. While most people flock to Trunk Bay, this is by far the best stretch of beach in STJ. Missing it already!

I liked Cinnamon Bay more than Trunk Bay mostly because of the extra sea life I saw there while snorkeling. They had all the same pretty tropical fish, sea fans, urchins, etc., as Trunk Bay, but I had the treat of seeing a couple of stingrays and swimming with a beautiful sea turtle while at Cinnamon. It's also nice that... More

Friends mentioned that Cinnamon Bay can get buggy, but we got lucky and had a beautiful, bug free day at the beach. Like Trunk, the beach has rental equipment and a beach cafe for lunch, but does not charge a fee for entry. The beach is beautiful, and if it not buggy, definitely worth it.

This was the best hike ever down the Cinnamon Bay Trail. It took us about an hour to hike down the trail but was worth it. What a sight to see. The beach was very beautiful and clean. If you want to relax this would be the beach to go to.

Cinnamon Bay is beautiful. It is not the best snorkeling that we have experienced. We have been here several times. Once under yellow flagged conditions, which were still somewhat swimmable but we lost sunglasses and a dive mask in the surf it was so rough (if you encounter something like this go to a south shore bay to find calmer...
