Along with Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay too is "one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!" When we go on vacation to St. John, our vacation is not complete without spending several relaxing days on the beach at Cinnamon Bay. There is ample parking just off North Shore Road and across from the Cinnamon Bay Ruins. There is no... More

Amazing beach, we hung out till dusk. It's just great here, though there were some odd small flyign bugs we stirred up on the walk back. I have nothing bad to say about this beach it's probably the place I'll remember the most about this island.

Looking for snorkeling. Found even more. Yes, the island/cay nearby was good [at least on the east side]; but then we walked to the east end of the sand on Cinnamon, and began to snorkel from there. WOW!! You have to go. Hopefully what we saw wasn't just a seasonal event. Hint: from tiny to huge. Felt like we'd dropped... More

If you are in St John, Cinnamon Bay is a must. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and it is very clean and well kept. It is very large and never seems very crowded. There are facilities near the beach with places to shower off at the end of the day. This is one of... More

This beach is gorgeous. It is free to get in. Not as busy as Trunk Bay. We had most of the beach to ourselves the whole day. Water is beautiful and warm. Can't wait to go back.

This beach is pretty big. We had the entire right end to ourselves. Great place to take pics as there are some pretty big rocks on that side. Definitely worth a visit!

We spent a few hours here at the end of a long day of "beaching" and it was gorgeous. One of the few places to rent equipment on the actual beach, though we didn't have time that day (I really wanted to experience stand up paddling - oh well!). The beach was pristine and the water was warm and wonderful.

Comparative to other beaches on St. John, Cinnamon has a lot of parking (Hawksnest does not), it's free (Trunk Bay is not), has some camping spots, and even some beachside rooms that you can rent relatively inexpensively. The beach has showers available, and pretty much any kind of water sport rental you could want. It is fairly popular, so you'll... More

The beach was B-E-A-U-TIFUL. I loved the sand, the way the water moved, the colors, the sounds, the snorkeling--what isn't there to love--somehow this was my favorite over Trunk, Hawksnest, and Maho--can I go back now?
