We had traveled to St. John from St. Thomas in the past, and were very pleased with the Trunk Bay National Park. However, this year, we wanted to try something new. We were not disappointed! We traveled with a party of 10 (6 adults, 4 children) using our minivan to take the ferry from Red Hook, which was a great... More

This beach is among the most beautiful I've ever seen. I've been to many in the Caribbean and this is definitely in my top five. I'm not sure why all the fuss is about Trunk Bay, this beautiful beach is uncrowded shallow and calm. Beach chairs and watersports rentals are available on site. There are also cute cottages for rental... More

Cinnamon is one of my favorite beaches on St. John. There are many to choose from, but definitely this is one to make a stop.

We really enjoyed Cinnamon Bay. This beach is one of the larger we've visited at St. John, with beautiful, calm clear water for swimming. There are plenty of shallow areas for younger swimmers or beginner snorkelers. At the far side of the beach, there are plenty of fish to see in the coral reef. The ocean floor was otherwise bare,... We enjoyed a few hours on the beach here. It's an easy taxi ride to and from this beach. The water is just beautiful. One of our group snorkeled and saw lots of colorful fish. Nice spot to spend some time.

We were told by the locals to go to Cinnamon Bay rather than Trunk Bay because you avoid the crowds and it was true. The water was so clear, you could see the fish swimming around in waist high water. It is a must if you go to St. John.

We took a sailing lesson from Savannah, and it was absolutely fantastic. This was our first time sailing, and we were in great hands. Savannah took us all the way to the end of the cove, teaching us to tack, and jibe all the way. Everyone at the watersports shack was fantastic and easy to talk to and were very... More

We ended up here because Trunk Bay had no parking left on a lovely July afternoon. The beach may be slightly less spectacular, but Cinnamon Bay seems less crowded and more family friendly, I think, with boat/board rentals, shower/bath facilities, etc. The place looks like a postcard. I would love to come back and stay at the campground sometime. Looks... More

Arrived at this beach while returning from our boat trip, it was the last stop. We had the beach all by ourselves. It was just paradise beach. Just go there !👍😱😎
