We brought a group of nine to St John and Cinnamon Bay offered something for everyone. Those wishing shade sat under the trees but there was wide open sand for the sun worshipers. The hikers visited the ruins and hiked up to Centerline Road. The snorkeling around the Cay was just so-so, perhaps next time we will go to little... More

We spent 2.5 days snorkeling at Cinnamon bay and were so delighted by all that we saw. Octopus, sting ray, tons of fish and coral, and we found the Cessna wreck which was so fun to explore. The beach is pristine white sand and if you go after 4:00 it is nearly deserted and you can watch amazing sunsets! A... More

Stunning beach with so much do. We snorkeled here the most during this past visit. We've been to St. John twice and besides Trunk Bay this beach is just like heaven. National park area with facilities. Lots of bugs as five o'clock comes around. Place even has a place to grab a bite but it's on island time for sure!

This is a very popular beach, as you will discover as you begin to search for a parking space! This is the only other beach that has facilities like a snack shack, etc. They have a neat archeological center, if you're into that. There is snorkeling here but its pretty far from the shore. I also didn't think it was... More

Wow! Amazing snorkeling and beautiful bay! People camped there too! There is a small store with food and souvenirs. Don't miss this bay!

Without question, Cinnamon Bay is one of the most amazing beaches we have ever visited. The area is pristine with silky white sand beaches, crystal clear water and one of a kind views in every direction. The area is surrounded by the park grounds lending an even more intimate feel to the island. The nearby snorkeling and water sport options... More

This laid back and beautiful beach is an ideal relaxing day. We didn't rent paddleboards or sailboats, but they were available. We did go snorkeling and it was really great. I highly recommend a day here.

Face it, the Virgin Islands are all about sailing ships. These are some of the world's best sailing waters. St. John offers the non-sailor the ultimate paradise, minimal crowds, excellent safety, and incredible beauty. Cinnamon bay is an easy hike of car ride to one of the beaches that only mariners talk about. You will love it. Bask in the... More

ST JOHNS has many beautiful beaches featuring Trunk Bay. HOWEVER I really have to give the edge to cinnamon bay for the following reasons; Very large and beautiful beach with same blue water and variety of water sports available at well appointed beach concessions run by Kendall and summer. THE hiking is cool too featuring 18 century sugar plantation ruins... More
