I loved Cinnamon Bay! When we stepped onto the beach everyone seemed to snorkel and gather in the center of the beach. We were hoping for a quiet day so we decided to head down the beach to the left. I'm so happy we did! There was almost no one down that way and we found awesome snorkeling. Snorkeled all... More

Not a good spot for divers & snorkel. Its a nice family beach with open waters and nice restaurant, bathrooms & showers on site.

Great sailing, surfing and relaxing. My son had a great time paddle boarding. Everything can be rented at beach.

We took the ferry over to St John yesterday May 18th ($12 pp rt). Grabbed a taxi, $7 per person) and headed to Cinnamon Bay. The drive was beautiful & very scenic. Only took about 10 minutes to get there. Taxi dropped us off right inside the campgrounds. There's a short walk through the trees, and then the picturesque view... More

This is a beautiful beach, though narrower than Trunk Bay (TB). There is camping, both open site and in rental cabins, a small store, and a sit down open air, but sheltered, bar/short-order restaurant that is rented for wedding receptions, parties, and the occasional holiday (they had a Mother's Day brunch offered the first time we were there this trip).... Spent a small amount of time here, mostly because the snorkeling wasn't as good as the other Bays, but the beach was great to relax on and was quite peaceful. Lots of activities such as windsurfing, kayaking, and boards of all kinds. They were all pulled up on the beach and it was fun to watch people attempt them. It... More

My family and I had a great time on cinnamon bay. It's the perfect Caribbean beach. There is great snorkeling, you must go all the way to the left side of the beach, look for the dark shadows and dive in, great shallow reefs. You can spend the whole day there....the drive isn't bad if you're use to mountain driving,... More

My wife and I took the car ferry from St Thomas to St John for half a day, For us, Cinnamon Bay was a better option to Trunk Bay. Cinnamon Bay does not have as much to offer as far as snorkel viewing, but the beach is less crowded and the water is just as clear. My advice, plan to... More

If you're a hotel person this place might not be for you! I grew up camping in the Adirondacks in Upstate NY. And this place is my second favorite place to put up my tent. Beaches are pristine. Snorkeling is nice when the wind is down. The bathhouses are clean, showers are beautifully made with shells and rock. So exhilarating... More

We rented a jeep and was going to stop at Trunk Bay but there was no place to park and they charged $4 to get in. We drove to Cinnamon bay and so glad that we did. It was not very crowded. We set up under a couple of trees and it was so romantic. Beautiful calm blue water. This... More
