The Tap Room, our island brewpub, is the home of St. John Brewers and our Virgin Island beers. Serving the largest selection of draft beer in the entire Caribbean. Come relax in our A/C bar or two outdoor patios while enjoying our award winning locally brewed beers and homemade soda. Our new food menu has something for everyone. Try one of our fresh salads, savory barbeque pulled pork sandwich or warm Bavarian pretzels. There are plenty of great menu options served with a cold draft beer, homemade soda, or local fruit infused cocktails.

We enjoyed visiting the Tap Room in Mongoose Junction after learning that their prior location burned down recently. My husband got their Island Hoppin IPA everywhere we went on St. John and brought some back to the states with us. The beers were good and so was the food. We tried the fish tacos, and my husband said the blackened... More

My wife and I went in for a reprieve from shopping at Mongoose Junction. The place is currently small (see caveat below), but had ample table space considering. Menu is what you would expect at a pub/bar establishment. Good beer selection and food options. Now the best part....my cheeseburger! I could review cheeseburgers like some people review wines. This one... More

The tap room has moved to a very small, uneventful place. To be fair, we didn't stay and eat or drink. The space was so small and there are so many places to eat and drink on the island that sitting in a small room for a good beer just didn't appeal to us. We will return however when the... More

The have 4-5 house drafts and 4-5 guests drafts. Not a huge selection on tap, but your in St John and most places have zero draft beer. The owners have a great story and are really nice guys. They are currently renovating after a fire...good luck guys, I look forward to seeing your new place when I get back.

We heard about this microbrewery so we stopped in before catching the ferry back to St. Thomas. They are in a temporary location due to the recent fire but that does not impact the great beer and service. Clean room for the bar and the variety beers is great.

We went to the Tap Room to try the St John brewery beers. People were nice! It was great to taste the beer, and they gave some nice tasting samples to us. The double IPA and the stout were my favorites. Their root beer is also really great. The food, however, was not good. Frozen pizzas and greasy apps. I'll... More

This is a laid back bar with football on TV, a number of beers on tap, and some decent sandwiches on their menu. The beer of which we tried 4 of their own brews are honestly not great. Their cider and mango flavoured beer are too fruity. Their summer ale has a lot of the hops taste and their IPA... More

We stopped by for a burger one evening and this was one of the worst meals we had while on the island. The burgers were bland and the side was a sad handful of cheap potato chips.

I agree that the local beer is good (mainly the Summer Ale). We had it in many places around the island. We decided to go to the Tap Room with friends that had been there before, but the experience sucked. We sat down, but had to change tables because the first was pretty dirty. The next was 'less worse' (yet... More
