Coming to St John every year. This year we rode on the new twin-hulled ferry boat. Seemed to zip through the water. Enjoyed the in-cabin flat screen TVs & movie playing on the trip. Only 13 minutes travel, as opposed to the former 20 minutes. Baggage staff was again excellent.

great ferry. It was organized and on time and felt safe. The location in St Thomas is quite from the airport but has good taxi service.

The Ferry from Red Hook is a Wonderful ride to Cruz Bay and a great deal at $7 a person each way and extra for luggage. Get there early and enjoy a great Bushwacker before hitting St John, but you cant drink it on the ferry so enjoy it at Red Hook. The new ferry's are like riding in luxury,... More

If you are trying to get to St John (and you do not own a boat) this is the best and most economical way to travel there.($7/person plus $3/bag) Ferry departs on the hour and is fairly punctual. Luggage was not a problem and ticketing is fast. Everyone was there to serve.

The ferry is efficient, inexpensive and relaxing. we had a calm day and it was nice to accompany one of our party who was leaving a few days before us. Have some food and drinks and head back. Paid 265.00 for a sailboat ride for the same three people. You just can't jump off and snorke!!

Red Hook, Ste Thomas VI to Ste John VI is the way to travel between the two Virgin Islands! What a gorgeous ride! Too beautiful for words; the waters; the ride itself; the view when departing Ste Thomas; and looking ahead to Ste John. About 20 minutes; reliable on departures + arrivals and posted times. It is very inexpensive for... More

Our boat was fairly modern and roomy. We sat on upstairs deck to enjoy the scenery. The ferry is a decent value. $6 per person and $4 for each piece of luggage. The ferry service is very prompt.

It was a rough ride from St Thomas to St Johns. All of us sitting outside on the starboard side got soaked from the waves. The tour of the beaches was a bust. Didn't go in far enough to see anything. But the trip back was better. Free rum punch kept us all happy!

This transfer from Red Hook to Cruz Bay is easy and efficient. Now there are new boats with air conditioning and video entertainment. The trip is only 20 minutes.

A long taxi ride from airport but has a bar and ready food---ferry ride is nice and not long but prefer taking ferry from Charlotte Amalie to avoid long cab ride
