Wonderful Ride but Take Your Motion-Sickness Pills

Great ride between St. Thomas and St. John USVI. Sometimes the sea can get a little rough part of the way, so if you are sensitive to motion, take something for it.

We have used the ferry plenty of times over the years. There are several different carriers. This time, we used Boylston(?), Mr. B and purchased a round trip fare. We intended to use the return portion four days later. The guy taking the money handed me a yellow receipt ONLY for the $50.00 round trip fare. A one-way is $30.00.... More

My husband and I took the ferry from St. Thomas to St. John. It was very easy to order tickets at the counter and it costs $7 one way and $2 for each piece of luggage. We sat on the top deck and got a pretty nice view the entire ride. We did get splashed once but didn't get soaking... More

Been doing business between St. John and St. Thomas, these guys are always friendly helpful and always running on time. Boats are clean and the trip is a very good value for the service they provide.

Travel to/from St John via the ferry is easy. The cost is $7 one way and $1 for children 12 and under (I forgot that when buying tickets to St John.). At Red Hook, they operate the new high speed ferry which is very nice and take about 9 minutes to get to Cruz Bay. When leaving our vacation, we... More

We took the ferry on several occasions recently from Red Hook to Cruz Bay. The price is reasonable. The boats are very clean and comfortable. The ride is short - - 20 minutes.

We take the Red Hook ferry when we go to the most beautiful island of St John to start our vacation. The ride does not take that long but with all there is to see on the way over it is almost like a tour in itself. I would try to get inside instead of the open deck because it... More

We enjoyed our quick little ferry ride over to St. John and back. On the way over, we sat up on the top deck and enjoyed the views. On the way back we sat inside and enjoyed the AC and comfortable seating after spending a day outside. Just be sure to check the times!
