Perfect excursion for our family! We spent 1/2 a day sailing and snorkeling. The crew Joe, Alex and Suzannah were very nice, knowledgeable and entertaining. Our teenage kids had a blast on the boat and in the water. Snacks, music and drinks on the way back were perfect. There was a restroom on board. You could choose to snorkel, relax... More

After a boat trip to the island, a look through the museum and an eco tour of the island, there was little time left for shopping. This was a great place to go. Mostly spices-- with sampling allowed -- and teas. But there were also enough other items to make me feel like I did "shop". It is close to... More

This is a standard stop on our visit to Saint John. They have an eclectic blend of goods, most notably the array of hot sauce. I purchased a new local habanero based hot sauce which is terrifically hot! They have a variety of loose coffee and Teas, bags (we own a few) hats, soaps (monkey farts is the best) Christmas... After browsing several shops in downtown St John we saw the sign for St John spice and headed up stairs to check it out. It is a small shop, but full of a nice assortment of products. The first display you pass is the coffee/tea jars, a small but interesting assortment of blends. There is another section of spices and... More

My husband and I do not do much shopping at all while on vacation, however, we do enjoy finding cute shops with interesting items. St. John Spice has a great variety of spice blends as well as coffee and teas. In addition they have hot sauces and other items. Friendly and helpful staff.

I always stop here as they have all kinds of wonderful spices, jams/jellies, post-cards, tea, wine glasses, shirts, and other knick-knacks. The shop is clean, air-conditioned and convenient to downtown. the help is very nice and well trained. the cruz bay grilling spice is a favorite and I stock up on it every year. it also makes a great gift... I really enjoyed looking and smelling at St. John Spice. I picked up souvenirs for everyone and got a few things for myself ;-) The owners and staff were very friendly and the prices are reasonable. If you need a last minute gift (or something for yourself) stop in while you wait for the ferry! Jennifer - Detroit/Farmington Hills

We found a good selection of hot sauces, spices and rubs. There are also a lot of t-shirts, hats and stuffed animals to take back to the folks at home.

St John Spice is located right off the ferry dock when you land in St John. They have rows and rows of hot sauces, the best selection of loose leaf teas ever, island gifts and beachy clothing. I bought a few tops here. They have cute little trinkets and shot glasses and more. Don't miss this place!
