This beach is wonderful, it is uncrowded, it is beautiful, and it has plenty of attractions around it, like Maho Bay campground facilities and the Anneburg Ruins. There is plenty of room to sit back and relax. It is a must go and this season there has been an 8 foot manta ray that has been swimming back and forth... More

We liked the beautiful water as well as the fact that it was not crowded. Nice little hike close by which circles a salt pond. More

We always make it to Francis several times while on island. Many days we are the only 2 people on the beach. Snorkeling is pretty good and the water is usually calm. More

There is a parking area, but no restrooms that I noticed. There's a large manta ray that swam back and froth along the beach and came close enough for kids to touch it. Cool to see in the wild! More

Nice, good sized beach w/ decent off shore snorkeling. Was a close 2nd to Salomon/Honeymoon. Francis was bigger but since on cab route had more people. Several people had said there were rays in the water when we were there but didnt see any. Is a port-potty but that's it. Make sure you know return cab schedule or you can be... More

Pristine beach on a pristine island... March 8, we saw 3 Dolphins, a Manta Ray with about a 7 1/2' wing span and a sea turtle... oh yeah, and the beach is something you'd see in National Geographic :-). Pure paradise! More

This is a large bay with plenty of areas to sit on the beach. We snorkeled on the right side and saw rays, turtles, and a 6 foot manta ray in the grassy bottom areas. There are many sailboats that moor here as the bay is calm. A popular beach for St John visitors. More

We had so much fun here. The snorkeling was wonderful. We saw four turtles having breakfast together on the sea grass. We also saw the resident Baracuda, he seemed pretty friendly, but we kept a close eye on him. We saw a squid, spiny lobster, big weird crab, plenty of fish and lots of sting rays. The most glorious moment... More
