Paradise!

Very secluded beautifulbeach. Beautiful water for snorkeling! Its a ways from Cruz Bay, but if you have a rental car no problem.

We liked this beach as it wasn't too crowded, but the jellyfish got to be a bit much so we didn't stay as long was we normally would.

Usually a favorite beach, but full of sea lice (small jellyfish). Harmless. but occasionally bite. Would avoid until we have more rain- seems related to drought.

Usually a great beach, but full of sea lice now (small jellyfish). They bite, but very minor. Would avoid for now.

This location has been overrun by jellyfish, a lot of them of the stinging variety. Currently, this beach cannot be used for water activities. This has been ongoing since April. If you are currently planning a trip to STJ, cross this location off of your list of places to go.

We had spent the entire day at Maho and then stopped by Francis on our way back to our villa. The beach was pretty and not crowded after 3pm. I heard there were more jellyfish here, but i dont know if that is why? The water seemed choppier and not quite as calm as Maho, but still gorgeous!

we were at Francis Bay yesterday looking forward to some nice swimming and snorkelling. There were only 6 other people on the beach when we arrived. A little surprising as it was only 3 pm. We soon found out why. Lots ad lots of jelly like things in the water and washing up on the beach. Looked like someone had... More

Like most of the beaches on St. John, it is beautiful to an extreme. The Island is all about which way the wind is blowing and the prevailing wind is from the southeast so if you like calm waters and sand that feels like memory foam them check this one out

This beach is nice in that it is almost always calm. It's part of the entire bay area that includes Maho beach. Driving, take a left at the fork out to Annaberg. There some "restroom" facilities, similiar to those at Annaberg. The beach itself has some picnic tables and some shade. The snorkeling here is not that good since the... More

We were on a mission to see turtles on the trip and struck gold at Francis! The water is clearer than at neighboring Maho Bay and we saw two turtles and three reef sharks, in addition to several stingrays and numerous fish. The calm water makes it an easier snorkel than some other beaches and the long, wide stretch of... More
