My husband and I took our first trip to St. John and Mongoose Junction and will definitely be back. Probably every year. The shops are interesting and have a nice variety. Loved That my husband could sit at an outdoor spot to grab a beer while I shopped. I didn't get to explore all of it, but I'm not done... More

I am not much of a shopper, but I was intrigued by the architecture of this venue. It was designed by a local architect, and built using many traditional methods and materials. It is very quaint overall, and has lots of great shops. It was the nicest place we visited in Cruz Bay - by far!

Mongoose junction offers many restaurants and interesting shops right on the outskirts of Cruz Bay. There are jewelry and clothing shops, restaurants, shady places to people watch, and parking. It is a little less hectic than trying to find a place to park in the heart of town. We also appreciate the trip and info kiosk they have there making... More

Have a few hours to kill and tired of the beautiful beaches in St. John, then head to mongoose junction for a fun walkabout. Local made items as well as regular tourist fare. Some nice swimsuits available at typical island prices. Great way to get away from the afternoon daily showers that last a few minutes. Some nice eateries as... More

Based on the reviews I was looking forward to coming here. But many of the stores were closed and the restaurants were all sit down restaurants. The area is very nice, but very small. They have a nice shop that is supported by the Friends of St John National Park. Would skip it if you don't have the time.

Even while on gorgeous St John, you may need a short break from the sand and sun. This one of a kind area has it all. It is worth seeing for the stone construction alone. Little shops are interspersed among winding stairways and tropical plants. There is often music playing and little open-air bars and restaurants around several corners. Unique... More

Small outdoor bar but great drinks. 10 seats perhaps and good hangout while your wife is shopping. Been here many times over the years and always fun. Bartender will make any drink you want. Bring your camera.

Loved several of the shops here, there's a bar in the middle so you can grab a drink while shopping, and several restaurants too; I loved the ocean grill. Right near downtown and worth the trip!
