Shopping on St. John is mostly limited to Mongoose Junction. It has a variety of neat shops and restaurants, but it is pricey. Definitely worth checking out, but the shopping is better on St Thomas.

This is the main shopping area on the island. Great shops and bars. I loved it but I'm not rich so was unable to purchase. If you are on the U.S. $ you can get better deals on the BVI.

we found a wide variety of things in the shops here, and the complex itself is quite pleasant. We had a great lunch at the Sun Dog Cafe, and particularly enjoyed Nest, Bajo El Sol, and the Caravan Gallery.

You are sure to find something for everyone back home. They have lots of unique boutiques that feature items made on the island which was important to me. They have dining based on local flavors and cuisine. You're sure to be happy that you spend an afternoon visiting Mongoose Junction.

Mongoose Junction has several great shops and restaurants. It is shaded by a canopy of trees. We bought most of the souvenirs that we purchased there. Very nice experience.

We have been to STJ 7 times in the past 12 years and we always make a stop at Caravan Gallery even if it is just to browse. We have been to just about every shop on STJ and Caravan is at the top of the list. This past year we sadly couldn't make it STJ but I wanted to... More

My husband and I both found shops that we enjoyed at Mongoose Junction and that's really saying something! We stopped in on the only rainy day on our vacation and we were able to find souvenirs for almost everyone on the list. There were some really unique, fun stores that we wouldn't have been able to find back home and... More

This is the best place we found for shopping in the USVI, including St Thomas. Not sure if they are the 'best prices', but the quality of stores and selections are just better than the touristy things you'll find on St Thomas. Unique shops, worth the visit.

I visited Mongoose Junction countless times! I will never get tired of walking all the pathways to unique shops and restaurants. Kids will enjoy it because the architecture is built with nature in mind- trees and flora sprout everywhere and it feels like an enchanted village. Places to check out: the Fabric Mill, Sugarbirds, Hot Look Sunglasses, Bajo El Sol... More
