Mongoose Junction has several great shops and restaurants. It is shaded by a canopy of trees. We bought most of the souvenirs that we purchased there. Very nice experience.

We have been to STJ 7 times in the past 12 years and we always make a stop at Caravan Gallery even if it is just to browse. We have been to just about every shop on STJ and Caravan is at the top of the list. This past year we sadly couldn't make it STJ but I wanted to... More

My husband and I both found shops that we enjoyed at Mongoose Junction and that's really saying something! We stopped in on the only rainy day on our vacation and we were able to find souvenirs for almost everyone on the list. There were some really unique, fun stores that we wouldn't have been able to find back home and... More

This is the best place we found for shopping in the USVI, including St Thomas. Not sure if they are the 'best prices', but the quality of stores and selections are just better than the touristy things you'll find on St Thomas. Unique shops, worth the visit.

I visited Mongoose Junction countless times! I will never get tired of walking all the pathways to unique shops and restaurants. Kids will enjoy it because the architecture is built with nature in mind- trees and flora sprout everywhere and it feels like an enchanted village. Places to check out: the Fabric Mill, Sugarbirds, Hot Look Sunglasses, Bajo El Sol... More

Saphia at the Beauty Lounge did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it turned out fantastic! She was very friendly. I was nervous never having met her before and it being my big day, but she exceeded expectations and even tamed my frizz which is not an easy feat in the Caribbean. The jewelry store near her was... Wanted to find a place to eat a late lunch and eat indoors with AC. Mongoose Junction was the perfect fit. Found a local who pointed us to a deli with great food and after cooling down and eating lunch we set off in the little tropical garden shopping village. Only a short walk from the ferry

Visited 8/5 on anniversary trip. Fascinating architecture with stores and restaurants on multiple levels. Had a bad experience with a cranky clerk at Caravan jewelry, but staff in other stores were pleasant and helpful. Most shops were air conditioned, so it was a nice break from the st. john heat.

If you're looking for unique gifts for taking home - this is the spot! This store offers locally made merchandise that isn't found in other stores and the prices aren't bad either.
