Stayed at the Marriott for 8 days in September. The water was beautiful but the beach was dirty. Lots of cigarette butts, napkins and dirty hotel towels left behind

We were there 10 nights. First half of the trip, Morningstar Beach was good. Private, not that many people. Easy access to towels, chairs, cabanas, toys. The waves were average. Fair amount of rocks to walk over before you are deep enough to swim. Second half - not so good. We had a storm halfway through our trip and the... More

Clear beaches where one could experience white sand and crystal clear water. One could see the bottom of ocean with no difficulty.

We went here because it was close to port and we enjoyed ourselves. It was overcast and sprinkled off and on but we were in the water so who cares. The resort had a bean bag toss game there that our teens enjoyed and the water was nice. A relaxing day.

We stayed at the Morningstar beach club for 10 days, so naturally we took advantage of this beach just about every day. It is a fairly quiet beach compared to others like Magen's Bay. There are plenty of free beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as snorkeling & kayak gear available for rent (free if staying at the resort). There... More

Beautiful beach with pleasant waves. Crystal clear, azure water with plenty of beach chairs. Kids enjoyed the floats, paddle boards, snorkeling, etc. Even better was staying there and being only steps from the water. Plenty of places to eat or drink. Highly recommend, especially for families.

we stopped in St Thomas on a cruise. After shopping half the day and taking a 2 hours tour of the island we went to morning star beach because it was the closest to the port. The beach side near the volleyball court is very rocky. We walked down about 50 yards and it was much better. The girls sat... More

This is the only beach we found on St. Thomas that has good waves for kids. Part of the beach is very calm but there is a section that you can body surf. I would recommend staying there or stopping by when in st. Thomas.

Waves, sand and some snorkeling at either end... If you are a guest at the Marriott there are a lot of nice amenities, including a nice pool,

After getting off our cruise ship and mailing some forgotten bills at the US Post Office, we asked a taxi driver to suggest a nice beach that wasn't too far away and that had food service and bathrooms, and this is where he brought us for $6 per person. No one stopped us to pay a fee to use the... More
