Had a few hours to spare so we took the US$21 each ride up the mountain, the trip takes 7 mins and the view from the top is fantastic, well worth it! Not too much to do from the top, the usual shops and cafe's and that's about all!!

The Paradise Point Tramway or Skyride takes you up to a brilliant view of Charlotte Amelie in Saint Thomas. This is where you can get the "money shot" of your cruise ship. There is a nice bar up there with reasonable prices. They are some gift shops and they are expanding.

While on our most recent cruise, I took the Paradise Point Tramway up to the top. The views at the top are great; you can see the whole harbor and all of the various vessels moored/docked there. I enjoyed my time at the top and their free wifi which I used to text my parents And update them on our... More

We took the tramway a year ago while on a stop with Carnival cruises. It was actually cheaper to buy our tickets on the ship (shocking!!) There was a short line but it moved fairly quickly, they were only running the 1 set of 3 trams that day. The ride is nice. My friends were a bit nervous, since they... More

This is one of my favorite spots on the island. The view IS breathtaking...especially at night. They have great bushwacker drinks and the food was good. I go here every time I am in the islands!

The tramway is quite the tourist trap and expensive! When purchasing a ticket they tell you it is for all day and you an ride as many times as you like. Well when you are on a cruise ship that does nothing for you as you have to be back on board before dark, so you only get the day... More

A taxi driver offered to take us to the top of several high peaks for $25 a person and we turned him down to go on the Paradise Point Tramway on our own. After getting to the top for $21 each, we regretted not taking the taxi driver up on his offer. The cable car ride is very short, and... More

The tram ride, about a 7 minute ascension, was smooth and steady. The view from the top afforded a great vista, with even Puerto Rico visible in the distance. Good spot for photos. A bar/restaurant is at the "summit" but we did not partake. We had coupon for 50% off. Full price of $21/person would have made us skip the... More

The restaurant want very good, the food and drinks were overpriced, and 20.00 per person isn't worth it. The view is okay, but certainly not breathtaking.

We booked this through our Carnival Valor cruise. It was $20 per person and it only included your admission. You can walk to the entrance though, about a 5 minute walk. It's a gondola ride up to the top. The views are beautiful. When you get to the top you have as long as you want, but there isn't much... More
