We visited Paradie Point tramway at the end of March whilst stopping in St Thomas on our cruise. The ride and views were good, but the area is undergoing renovations and doesn't quite look like Paradise at the moment. I am sure it will be good when it is finished. Being on a cruise meant that we were limited for... More

The views from Paradise Point were amazing. We booked this excursion through our cruise line so we paid two dollars less per ticket. My advice is to get there early. We were the first ones there along with another couple. When we got back to the starting point, the line was very long. There was a lot of renovation going... More

Pros:1. It's a nice view. 2.The ticket is good all day. 3. There are Bushwhacker drinks at the bar available to purchase. 4. The staff people are friendly. 5. purchased on the cruise ship we saved $2/person. Cons: 1. There are some steps to climb 2. If you don't have a lot of time, you have spent a lot of... More

Because that was all that was there. Not sure how long the construction is suppose to last but we got to the top and looked around and thought ok, is that all there is? We took our picture of the view, had a Bushwacker, (the only other reason to go) and that was about it.

The view is great, don't get me wrong, but not for that price. The ticket is valid all day, so I guess if you are thinking of going back up when the sun is setting (don't know if it is still opened by then), but maybe that would make it worthwhile.

We visited St. Thomas in early April. One of the attractions we wanted to take in was the Paradise Point Tramway because it was close to the cruise ship dock. What a disappointment, a rip off. The charge for the short gondola ride was $21.00. There is no advance warning anywhere that Paradise Point was being renovated. The first "surprise"... More

If you are looking for a great view and someone to take up a couple of hours, nice break and ways to see the whole island

We got of the cruise ship and went into town to shop. Same stores that we saw in St Marteen, so we took a quick cab over to the tram. The restaurant/bar is nothing spectacular, they had a little gift shop and some kiddy type rides. As you can see from the pictures the view is the true value here.... More

This was a fun first stop of the day at St Thomas. It was easy to find, no lines to wait in. Great views from the top, nice photo's.. enjoyed the Bailey's Bushwacker drink from the bar.

After debarking the cruiseship on March 4th 2013, we walked directly to this location. A quick and easy walk. As it was early, there was no lineup and we and went right into the cabin. It was an enjoyable ride and we admired the views. I had read that there was a little zoo at the top but all the... More
