The view from the top is fantastic - see the entire harbor of Charlotte Amalie, and look out over the landscape for miles. They are currently doing a lot of construction on top to make this attraction even more enjoyable. There is a restaurant, shops, and as noted, a view to die for. Of course you probably want to get... We took the lift after returning from touring Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook. The ride is short, and the views good along the way. At the top is a three-level facility, with a souvenir shop, restaurant, and bar. There is a also a collection of exotic birds (no photos allowed), which is worth seeing. The views from all three levels... More

We did this before another excursion to get a good view of the city from higher ground. It was at your leisure, so it was flexible as to when we would go. But it was more than a 5 minute walk and there are no directions. We just walked toward what we hoped was the sky ride! Buying from Carnival... More

The view was amazing, but we were not impressed with anything else. We were on the NCL Getaway and took the 10 minute walk to the skyride. After getting our wristbands, we were instructed to stand in front of a green screen for a family picture. They were charging $10 for a picture of us standing in front of a... More

Besides the rude guy at pirates chest, it was worth it for the view. There's a nice little cafe too. Would make for a nice lunch.

While the tramway provided a very pretty view of the coast it was SO expensive with nothing memorable at the top except for the view. The restaurant was mediocre and shops not worth it. There are so many other places on the island you can see a great view for so much less

Went up right at sunset and got the sun going down as we were riding up. Beautiful views over Charlotte Amalie as the sun set and after dark. A few shops and a bar/restaurant at the top with outdoor seating. Not sure it's worth $22 to go up but oh well...if you want beautiful views over town, this is it.... More

Try to get discounted tickets from your cruise ship if possible. We went as a family of 4 for $20 total. The actual price should have been just over $60. The views are amazing and the Bushwacker drinks are fantastic - but expensive. Friendly staff with good service.

This was our first stop during our Carnival cruise excursion when we arrived to St. Thomas. It was walking distance from the ship, about 10 min to the Skyway tram. You will find a few shops along the way to the base of the Skyway. We purchased our tickets directly from the excursion desk on-board the ship, and was actually... More

We took the Paradise Point Tramway when we stopped in St. Thomas on our second cruise. The first cruise we did a snorkeling trip so this time we decided to just bum around St. Thomas ourselves. This was highly recommend by many people so we decided to check it out. First off this is really expensive. The tram ride was... More
