I had a little bit of time to kill while my wife was shopping, so I took the tram up and enjoyed the view very much. There are tourist shops with local wares up at the top. I would caution people entering or leaving the tram, because it just feels a bit dangerous. The trams are moving around a semi-circle... More

My wife and I, our son, daughter, and a friend all rode the tram. Everyone in our family used a credit card to pay to ride the tram, friend did not, The next day our credit cards used here were swiped in three different states. This is the only location on our entire trip all of used our credit card.

Don't waste your time on this. My family and myself thought this would be a great experience and view to be able to see all the surrounding area considering we were visiting on a cruise and only there for a few hours. We got to the top and there were a bunch of run down shops adding no value to... More

The view from the top is unbelievable. The pictures that I took looked like a post card that showed the islands and the cruise ships below. Just gorgeous! We paid cash for our tickets, but heard from others about their credit card info. being scammed. I believe it is worth the admission price. The view is something you will keep... More

Every time we get to visit St. Thomas, this is one thing we must do, even though the ride up and down in the tram is overpriced. What makes it worth it? The beautiful views from the top and having a couple of bushwackers to enjoy. Our first visit was back in 2007 (we've been there 4 times), and back... More

Paradise Point Tramway in St. Thomas is well worth the $5 ticket. It's walking distance from the cruise ships dock. If you wait until after 5:00 PM the ticket is only $5. We booked ours through the cruise line and paid over $20. Live and learn. The staff were very friendly and helpful and really wanted us to know more... More

We visited here in February 2014 when in port during our Disney cruise. We did our excursion during the day and had two hours to spare before leaving port so we walked the short walk to the gondolas. The ride was free for our two kids (2 and 5) and we paid for two adults. We climbed the stairs and... More

This is located not too far from the cruise ship port, as we just docked with Carnival. We bought our tickets through Carnival and saved a couple dollars. There are great view, and awesome photo opts once you reach the top. There's a restaurant at the top, and we enjoyed a few daiquiris. Not sure if it's worth $20pp, but... More

If you choose to go up the tram, DO NOT use a credit card. We suspect that our numbers were stolen by them because we were on a cruise and we only used our card at 'Paradise Point'. Our bank notified us of unusual activity - random charges in Illinois. So, here's our experience with this place besides the card... More
