We just got back from a week trip to St. Thomas...great place to vacation, but you have to go to Paradise Point, ride the tram up the mountain and enjoy the best view in the Islands! Great shopping and some really good food....and a wide variety of beverages....our favorite was the "Baileys Bushwacker". Paradise Point is famous for this drink... More

This was a perfect afternoon in St. Thomas. We didn't have much time because we had to get back to our ship. The tram was fun and the windows were all open so there was a nice breeze. We saw the bird show and my 11 year old son had his picture taken with the birds ($20). In addition to... More

Loved the views from atop of the tram, but it was an expensive 20 minutes! Luckily, it was a 5 minute walk from where our ship docked. Our 7 y o loved it, so it was worth it. The trams are stifling with the sun, and no air movement, but its a short ride to the top.

View is nice, bird show cute, waitress at the bar is a crook. She never presented a check added her tip, and when we questioned her became rude.

I'm not a big fan of things like this already, but the kids wanted to do it, so we did. You are crammed in a small, enclosed cart that is SO hot. Makes someone without claustrophobia feel claustrophobic! Once at the top, there are great views & there is an interesting map that points out which islands you can see... More

Yes, the view is pretty but you pay $21 per person to be crammed 8 or 9 people into a non-airconditioned car. You go see the view and then get crammed back into the hot tram to come back down. There were five of us x $21 plus four from another family in the tram. (You do the math!) I... More

This was our third time to St. Thomas, and I had wanted to ride this tram. It is a couple dollars cheaper if you book it through the shore excursions desk on your cruise ship - I never would have guessed that! The people were very friendly, and the ride is fun. We timed it so we could watch the... More

My husband and I took the tram and loved the views from the top! It is a little pricey, but since we were staying at the Marriot Frenchman's Reef, we got 1/2 off! Also, we bought the Virgin Island Saver http://virginislandsaver.com/ and got free Bushwackers at the top! (The Virgin Island Saver was definitely worth $30 for us!) Definitely a... More

You're going to spend much more on goofy tourist souvenirs and booze, and they won't bring you anywhere near the level of enjoyment that this view of the island will. The attraction appears well maintained, clean facilities, friendly staff all around, and the bartender wasn't afraid of the rum! Check it out next time you're in town, you will have... More
