My wife and I cruise every year and we took this charter two years ago. We just got our confirmation for January and are so excited to go on this fabulous boat for another day sail. The Captain (Ron) and his first mate (Carol) are first class people. Ron did everything right in terms of giving us a safe fun... More

Would highly recommend chartering this rare Gallant 53" sailboat for a day sail. Captain Ron and Carol are a pleasure to know and so informative on the history of the Virgin Islands. We left St. Thomas, sailed in between the St. James Islands(private) to Christmas Bay and had the most incredible snorkeling experience. Great to sail with them

Four of us booked a charter on Feb. 5 with Ron and Carol and at the end of the trip, we asked how much more it would cost if we could just stay on their boat and sail on up to Half Moon Cay to meet our cruise ship there. The St. Thomas to St. John sailing/snorkeling excursion with Ron... More

We booked a half day sail and snorkel with Ron & Carol on the Alaunt after the sailing trip we were planning fell through. Carol was so accommodating in helping us to make all our arrangements! We took a cab from the main shopping area in Charlotte Amalie for $10pp to the Red Hook Harbor. We had time for a... More

We were so satisfied with just the sailing around we almost didn't care if we ever stopped to go snorkeling! Ron and Carol were the best hosts! The fruit was so fresh and tasty and Carol makes a mean banana bread! We would recommend this excursion to all! It was well worth the cost! When in St. Thomas again, we... More

What a way to end a cruise - being friends of people who know Ron & Carol, we were treated to a day we won't soon forget. Arrangements had been made to be picked up near the cruise ship dock. He took us to Red Hook harbor where we were picked up by Ron. He motored us out to his... More

We went about a year ago but forgot to do a review. Going cruising again this year and when searching for excursions remembered hadn't done review. Food and beverages were tops. So relaxing and the bean bags are a great idea. Certainly a highlight of our cruise. Snorkel equipment is good quality. Small groups are great to see the sights.

We booked a day sail with Alaunt Charters while visiting St. Thomas on our recent cruise. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. I contacted Ron and Carol via email about a month before our trip. They promptly responded to every question and even helped arrange transportation from the cruise ship dock to their marina. Our party of five... More
