This is a very tourist oriented beach. Many little shops along a boardwalk of sorts with refreshments and food available. Close to Coral World, one of the island's busiest attractions. Great beach to teach the young ones to snorkel. Not a lot of structure, but the fish have been fed, so they come to you. Like snorkeling in an aquarium.

Make the day a combo and go to Coral World too. We tried the Sea Trek at Coral World-great fun. Great staff there. Then head over to Coki to snorkel some more. Can be crowded but worth it. Locals are fun, helpful and welcoming. Snorkeling is worth it and the beach is gorgeous.

Coki Beach offers a beautiful beach for snorkeling and a great local flare. The people there are so nice and genuinely want to help make your visit better. The people there are always eager to point out the best snorkeling spot and last time they even gave us a dog bone to feed the fish. All kinds of colorful fish... More

The beach was very pretty and gave that local vibe, which was awesome. The only negative was the sand flies. They bit like crazy here.

Yes, the beach has some good snorkeling, not the best we saw, but good especially over towards Coral World. What was crazy about this beach, other than the hordes of tourists were the MANY merchants offering to 'get us a beach chair' .... 'beach waiters offering drinks', 'jewellery artists selling custom made bracelets or necklaces' a woman offering 'hair braiding'... More

I flew into St Thomas and was staying for one night before I went to the beautiful British Virgin Islands, and the place I was staying at was near Coki Beach so I went over for the afternoon. The beach itself is okay, and there are some fish to see, and unfortunately coral that people step on and not in... More

What happens to a beautiful spot when it's overtaken but those looking to cash in. Get there real early so you can see the fish, very pretty. But then it gets crowded with swimmers, non swimmers that try to swim, smokers and islanders desperate for making money. Just park, ignore the locals trying to get you a chair and go... More

We never miss an oppurtunity to go to Coki Beach when we are in St. Thomas. We also bring some dog biscuits to crumble up and the black and yellow sargent major fish come all around you to eat. We put the biscuits in a plastice baggy and then take one out at a time and crumble them. Great fun!!

Coki is walking distance from where we stayed in Point Pleasant Resort. There is a $5 fee for each beach chair and people come around to see if you want food or drinks for a fee. Great snorkeling and quiet on days that the cruise ships are not in port. There is a place to rent jet skis at the... More

First...getting there nightmare! Costly! Our family of five 80.00 U.S. round trip. Beach is crowded...everything cost $$$$$ . Not best option for families with little ones...locals were smoking marijuana ...food costly...chair rental costly...snorkel costly. The best I would give this is...the beautiful water. Save yourself money and time go to a nicer friendlier beach!!!!!
