Okay, so I have to agree that the area around Coki Beach is a bit sketchy. We went to the area of Coki Point, a couple meters before the attraction Coral World. For those who tend to be more cautious when travelling, I could see why they may think the Beach is not that great. HOWEVER, once you get past... more

Although this is a small beach, I thought it was more beautiful and more fun than the famous Magens Bay. Situated right next to Coral world , a must see place. Bring your snorkel gear. There is a place to eat there and vendors selling beautful wood carvings. I am going to st thomas again next week and I will... more

Before leaving on our Cruise I did a bit of research on St. Thomas to see what my hubby and I might like to do while there. I found out about Coki Beach and it wounded like the kind of place we would enjoy. It is not well known by tourists and it's not a huge beach. There are some... more

We were on a Carnival cruise and took a cab into Coki Beach because we heard everyone else went to Magen's Bay. Coki Beach is located next to Coral World so it is a great place to snorkel (for free). We brought our own snorkel gear on this trip and took it everywhere with us. The beach was beautiful and... more

My husband, two kids ages 7-4, and other family members went on a cruise, and St. Thomas was one of our port of call. Some of our family members been to Coki Beach in the past and, they promised us that we wont be disappointed. They were right!!!! We took a taxi from the port $14 roundtrip and kids were... more

It really is a shame that such a beautiful spot on earth has been so abused! There was trash everywhere and broken chairs piles up. The potential was there for it to be awesome but unfortunately it has been used as a trash dump. It is sad that the local island people have let this happen. It is off the... more

Looking to get away from the normal tourist hangouts. We stopped into the Coki Beach Dive shop so a friend could do a dive. While he was diving we had the best time with the beautiful beach (no cruise ships in that day so it was not crowded) and the wonderful beachside local bars. You must go to Uncle Buddy's... more

As others have said the beach area at Coki needs to be better maintained. It is a public access beach and that means anyone can come at any time. I don't know who is supposed to maintain it. It's not a place to come if all you want to do is park on a towel and grab sun. The snorkeling... more

Coki Beach was the most fun we had the whole vacation. At first we were somewhat sketched out by the locals telling us where to park, when we didn't even know we were at the beach yet. They walked us to the beach and got our snorkel gear and hooked us up for the rest of the day. So relaxing... more

From what I remeber about my experiences at Coki beach I had a great time! Just park, walk to the beach and relax. Soon a local waiter will cruise by and you can get "whatever you want from him." Go there when the ship is not in town because then you get a bunch of lame tourists hanging around crowding... more
