As I was driving past I noticed some new additions to this area and decided to stop by. I can not wait to return next week to see the progress that has taken place since my last visit. There are so many cool little art stands and awesome places to buy unique island items in this courtyard style venue. Love... More

Went to Tillet Gardens yesterday and bought beautiful candles from Caribbean Herbals--the most beautiful scented candles inside sea shells. Another little hidden gem is the shop, Mystic Valley. Fabulous little shop with so much unique merchandise--all handmade! Thoroughly enjoyed shopping there. Definitely make time to visit this artist community.

We came for a quick bit an early afternoon, we had the secret sandwich they only have one per day, so we got lucky and it was amazing! We also had the double brisket burger with bacon, because why not go all in? The garden is cute and colorfull, but the Off the Grid closed the deal, they have super... More

This place was nothing more than a collection of empty or closed shops... We went on a Thursday, and were sorely disappointed.

There are many cute shops with local artisans making jewlrey, drums, glass beads, yoga studio, hair dressers, and several restaurants including a vegan place (so very good!) and Snow White's (local flavors). A must see place that is reachable by safari taxi. Rhoda's guesthouse is also located here, a good place to stay.

Tillett Gardens is my favorite place to chill out. The tree-lined courtyard is tranquil, cool complete with lily-pad fountain. Easy access by Safari, there are a number of unique and local artists and stores to peruse. The artisans and guests that visit and stay at Tillett Gardens are some of the most friendly and personable people on the islands. The... More

My wife and I stayed in Rhoda's Guest House in Tillett Gardens for a few days. It is a cute area and very quite. The art shops are hit and miss with the hours, that is artists for you:) The restaurant is absolutely delicious, I could eat there everyday if I had a little more money. Over all the atmosphere... Although I had confirmed by email that Tillett Gardens would be open the day we visited St. Thomas on our cruise, only three places were open when the taxi dropped us there on Monday morning. Richard Berry in the pottery shop was very nice and welcoming and chatted with us for a while. He said the guy who was sweeping... More
