These natural areas provide a rich nursery habitat for offshore coral reef fish and invertebrates, and homes to nesting egrets, pelicans, herons and terns. « less

My son and I did a Eco tour through the mangroves and had a lot of fun. Highly recommend. Great places to snorkel and see baby fish

The tour itself is fantastic, but the prices I could honestly do without. I took the Mangrove Lagoon 3 hour ecotour. While the location is very out of the way, it's definitely a benefit; the water is calm and easy to paddle and snorkel in, especially if you or a friend are a bit green around the ears. It is... We took.the three hour kayak hike snorkel tour. Its a great tour and the company and staff are amazing. Totally recommend this. However on the same tour last year there were only two other people all morning. yesterday there were more than fifty. They were broken up but we had sixteen in our group and it was very irritating, loud,... More

We booked this excursion in St. Thomas from our Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas cruise December 2013. If your looking for something different then the normal beach excursion, as we were, this would be a great option. Our group was taken to a Kayak launch area where the tour guide gave us an overview of our tour. We set... More

Today we joined the Emerald Princess ship's excursion to kayak, hike and snorkel at Cas Cay Mangrove Lagoon, St James & Compass Pt marine Reserve & Wildlife Sanctuary. We began by taking an open air jeep to our sanctuary. Jason, Wes, Lauralee and Zulu guided our group of 25 from the ship. My 17 year old daughter and I climbed... More

KK and the rest of the mangrove lagoon crew are very knowledgeable on the eco friendly area. kayaking is easy and fun, the hiking was informative and easy, the snorkeling here is ok - not great. The hermit crab races are entertaining. Thank you for a good time KK

I have seen mangroves before but I have not been close and personal to any. Well, in July of 2013, that changed. I went fishing but I had to pass through a mangrove trail first because the boat was docked in the lagoon. The water in the lagoon was green, not the blue water I love and adore. all in... More

This trip through the mangroves made such a wonderful memory of St. Thomas for me. I took the kayak, hike and snorkel tour. We hopped onto our kayaks and went through the beautiful mangroves. At the end of our kayak, we reached a beach where we went snorkeling. The waters were calm and the fish there were so colorful and... More

Took the 5 hour VI ecotour. Go with a small group because you can only move as fast as the slowest person. The area is very shallow so we were able to see the spotted eagle rays. In the mangroves there is abundant bird and fish life. Eventually you end up snorkeling part of the mangrove in about 3 feet... More

I'd taken this tour nearly 4 years ago with family and decided to try it again with my girlfriend. I'd recalled how educational and fun the combination of events was as well as how beautiful the sites we trekked to were. Things I'd forgotten at the time, I'm 5 years older than I was then and it is a somewhat... More
