WOW! Beautiful views! The snorkeling wasn't all that great though-looked like a lot of the reef was dead/trying to come back. But I just enjoyed the views. I actually thought it was a lot better than Magen's Bay! more

We recently had the pleasure of spending a week at Sapphire Beach in July. The beaches there are second to none on the entire island of St. Thomas. The Seagrape Restaurant as suggested not to eat in one of the reviews has not been in exisitance for several years now. My husband and I just returned from our trip to St. Thomas. We wanted to spend most of our trip snorkeling, and we heard that sapphire beach had great snorkeling, so we planned a day to spend there. Sapphire Beach is outstanding for snorkeling and swimming. great breeze from ocean, but protected from the really rough surf by St. John and other smaller islands that are between the open seas and St. Thomas. We stay here and if we are on a cruise, we always take a day trip here to snorkel and swim. Good facilities to rent... more
