We have visited this place before and love it. This year though the owners have decided to ruin a perfect place by opening it up to shore excursions from the cruise ships. We got there and it was perfect as always, but were told to move cause there was a 150 person excursion on the way. The workers at the... More

We really enjoyed the snorkeling here. We rented chairs for $7.00 and spent the better part of an afternoon here. There is food available, but not a wide menu. If you're planning to spend time there over lunch, it wouldn't be a bad idea to pack some sandwiches. More

We've visited St Thomas many times over the years, and have tried out several different locations on the island. I always find myself comparing the other beaches to the one at Sapphire though....and they come up short. Sapphire is the quintessential beach, it has everything a beach should...crystal clear water in every shade of blue you can imagine, a great... More

Very nice beach, all the amenities (bathrooms, rentals, food). The snorkeling is great, a lot of fish, coral and the water is beautiful. Great all around beach. More

Quiet and pretty beach. Not much for snorkeling but it was great to lay out. Had a pizza delivered right to beach for lunch. Loved it! More

I walked in and out within half an hour as I was had plans for the day to check out all beaches at the hotels/resorts. Loaded with typical resort atmosphere-loud (lots of families and young party goers). If you are like me and want absolute seclusion, I would suggest try Secret Harbor or Brewer's Bay. The view is nice though... More

This beach is absolutely gorgeous. We initially wanted to go to Coki Beach, but our cab driver said this Sapphire was much better, so we took his word for it - and I'm glad we did. Unfortunately for us, there was a storm cause rough water, so the fish retreated to deeper waters, but we had a lot of fun... More

We rented unit C-309 at the Sapphire Beach resort. The beach is great. It has a dive shop and other little stores. Colorful fish and friendly ducks abound. There are shade trees so you can sit by the turquoise water and relax on beach chairs without getting subburned. On the adjacent marina they rent jet skis, which were also a... More

Very scenic beach with fine white sand and crystal clear water. Just don't go there when there is more than one cruise ship in port.....it gets very manic!! Way too many people! Check the cruise ship schedule. More
