Owner description: Experience the thrill of sailing on the fabulous 65' Castaway Girl catamaran to Shipwreck Cove, Buck Island. The Castaway Girl is fast and very stable, having spacious sunbathing decks and a large comfortable cockpit for those of you preferring the shade, as you sail in the warm breezes and crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Spend 1 1/2 hours at Shipwreck Cove snorkeling, and exploring beautiful coral reefs filled with tropical fish, turtles and other marine life. The wartime shipwreck of the "Catanza C" lies 25' below the surface and is home to a wide variety of marine life. Your friendly, experienced crew and instructors will provide you with all of the assistance that you need, as they snorkel with you, pointing out the wondrous sights to be seen below. Enjoy complimentary tropical fruit punch, Castaway Girl Rum Punch, along with other refreshments and snacks as you listen to some great music on your relaxing sail back. This was an excellent snorkling trip. The on board staff were excellent in preparation as well as getting in the water with us and guiding us for the best views of fish as well as the ship wreck. I would recommend

Amy, Carl, William, Ryan and Alexander were a fabulous crew. They were very informative, fun and attentive. We really enjoyed our time while aboard the boat was great, nice sail out to the site. The coral wasn't impressive but it was a nice relaxing experience. The water in St Thomas was a beautiful blue. We booked our excursion thru the... More

My husband and I went on the Castaway Girl III as an excursion on a Holland America cruise. We've been on many catamaran snorkeling tours and this one was very nice. The water was just lovely -- so clear and blue. That's what I enjoyed most about the tour -- getting the chance to swim around in the crystal clear... More

This was a well organised and equity trip but the snorkel site was just ok. Saw an old ship wreck and few fish but nothing spectacular. No pretty corals due to previous reef distruction. Complimentary rum punch was in abundance on return voyage.

The crew and captain of the castaway girl make you feel welcome from the first time you meet them They take you through the ship safety briefing so that it is not stuffy but if something was to happen you would know what to do They make sure each person is fitted correctly with the snorkel equipment. Identify those of... More

I recently went on a snorkel excursion on the Castaway Girl. The crew, Captain Gregg, Amy, Karl and Jordan were so great. They were very aware of everyone on the boat and made sure we were all having a great time. I was in a group lead by Karl. He did such a good job of describing what we were... More

Don't miss this experience! The entire crew...Karl, Jordan, Amy, and Captain Greg...were knowledgeable and went out of their way to accommodate passengers (on both the snorkeling and the sunset cruises) with courtesy and expertise. Would most definitely do this again!

Just back from a cruise of the Douro on Viking. New boat, well appointed...comfortable state rooms. The crew is grossly understaffed, with only 5 servers in the dining room. Dinner can be a long drawn out ordeal. Compared to other Viking ships, the Chef here lacks imagination and most of his meals tend to be bland. While they never tell... More
