My husband and I were on our annual anniversary trip and took this 5 hr tour with Shawn. He was not only informative, but was a lot of fun to hang out with. You have to be there, standing on the ground where history left many stories to be told, and told they were. Shawn was a wonderful historian. I... More

I've been looking at this island for years and heard all about its old ruins. This year we took the trip and had a great time. The old stone buildings were really neat to see.

If you're into of-the-beaten-path history, this is definitely the tour to take! Eli, our guide, had an in-depth knowledge of the local history, flora and fauna, as well as commendable professionalism and responsibility when it came to safety. The kayaking and hiking can be a bit strenuous, and one should certainly bring sturdy shoes to avoid the incredibly nasty acacia... More

I have been going to STT every year since 1992. Have wanted to get onto Hassle Island for most of the last 20 years. Took this tour in March, it was awesome. The view of Charlotte Amalie was spectacular. Our guide, Eli, was informative and attentive. The hike can be hot and steep (I am 57, and have some lung... More

This was probably the best snorkeling we've ever tried. The bus ride from the port to the facility is long and twisty, but the drive is worth it. Even while it was raining, we still had fun. The mangroves provide great pictures and wildlife. The guides are informative and helpful. The kayaks are two-seaters and handle very well. We got... More

My girlfriend and I did this Eco-tour to hassel island and absolutly loved it!. We had a small group, only four of us. We left on kayak with our guide Eli . During the paddle to the island we got some great background history on the things we would see there. When we got to hassel island we hiked for... More

My wife and I took the Hassel Island Kayak tour and we really enjoyed it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the island wildlife, history and culture from the early colonial period up to present day. It was the highlight of our trip to St. Thomas and we would highly recommend it.

Took half day eco tour with Jason on 3-5-12. It was a bit windy but the kayaking was fun and not as strenous as I had expected. The hike to the ruins of Hassel Island was informative and again not overly strenuous. Be sure to have closed toed sandals or tennis shoes for the hike. After the hike we snorkled.... More

My husband and I just returned from our second trip to St Thomas and we were looking for new adventrues. This was truly one on the most enjoyable challenges we took on. Grey, who was our guide, was very knowledgeable about the past and current history of the island and very tolerant with our paddleing skills. We paddled out to... More

Frank, our guide, knew the history that was most interesting. He was patient with our questions and showed us the little know things that others would have passed over quickly. He even took time to show us a catapillar eating a local bush and shared the life cycle story of it's poisonous life. It was a strenuous paddle but we... More
