The butterflies are pretty and the guide is very nice, but I think the entrance price was too high for what they offer...there were like 4 different species only (just a couple of each)...it's a whole day access, but I think they should have more butterflies...anyway the ones they did have were beautiful and I took amazing pictures.

We had a little time left before having to be back on our cruise ship on a recent trip to Charlotte Amalie so my mother and I went to this butterfly garden right across from where we were docked (it’s directly behind the inevitable Señor Frog’s). It was much more rewarding than the disappointing ice museum, with lots of beautiful... More

How to start? Well... from the beginning And we were wrong from the beginning when we choose this place. Being in St Thomas for third time and with just a few hours to do some shopping and some sightseeing made me wonder.. what to do? We saw the advertisement right across the shopping mall and Bingo!! We all love butterflies... More

The butterfly garden is a good place for a small visit during your stay on the island, whether you are in with a cruise ship or staying on island. The intern/staff members are friendly and helpful educators. Do ask questions of the docents - they know so much about their beautiful charges. The butterflies are amazing and it's easy to... More

Best guide ever teaching about butterflies! I was most impressed to find such a knowledgeable guide and although I have been to better butterfly gardens I have never learned as much about butterflies!

If your ship docks at Havensight in St. Thomas, be sure to take the short walk to the Butterfly Garden. The staff if very friendly and helpful; they give a great explanation of the life cycle of the butterflies. The garden also includes two koi ponds. It also is fun to just sit on some of the benches and observe... More

Very few butterflies for the price. Family of four cost $42!! Spent about 20 minutes and felt like we had exhausted all we could in regards to time there. Wouldn't recommend.

We visited The Butterfly Garden during our trip to St Thomas and had high expectations. While there were some butterflies, moths, and birds, there was not a large variety of them. The grounds inside the garden are ok, but the garden outside is actually a little better as we saw some cool plants and a hummingbird.

Kids will be amazed the habitat and life cycle of butterflies. The tour is very insightful as well a hands on. If you go they may even have the trained bird show happening.
