Crowded during ship dockings, no bargins unless you're looking for jewels. No bargining with the vendors at the market either, they want the price they want and don't take less.

Took a cab for $15 for 5 of us to get here from the port. Yes there are jewelry stores on the main strip but the gems are in the alley's on the side closest to the water. They are not scary alleys but full of different restaurants and interesting shops. Def some picture moments in here with the ivy.... More

If you're not into jewelry, stay away from Main Street. Even though there are other shops to visit, you'll be hounded by all the jewelry pushers.

Do you want to be harassed constantly? Are you into buying only jewelry? Then Main Street is your place. Be careful though... Walk a few blocks too far from main street and get harassed into buying weed. Unless that's your thing too. Good times...

If jewelry is your thing, this is definitely the place to go. Blocks of nothing but jewelry. After a few blocks, though the aggressiveness of the hawkers trying to get you into their stores begins to grate a little. Just move on if you are not interested. Of course, if there are several cruise ships in port that day, it... More

It's all about the jewelry stores and hustlers which was bothersome, but just part of buzz. Loved the alleys off Main Street more than main street. Way too many people due to cruise ships.

So if you are looking for jewelry a lot to choose from other than that not much there. Don't know if you can trust the quality of product. Take your chance.

Liked little and disliked much. Engaging Indian and local merchants on their histories was fun (while my wife shopped)

We were looking for flip flops and gifts for small kids, and while we were able to find them, we had to be hounded by about 5,000 jewelry store employees trying to lure us into their lairs. If we were in the market for jewelry, all the options would have been nice, but as we were not, it was just... More
