If shopping is for you

If you like island shopping, this is your spot. They have all of the usual duty free shops for jewelry, booze and of course tee shirts. Take your time, browse and enjoy!

We didn't book a tour for our one day port stop here, thinking we'd walk and wander. We noticed people on nearly every corner with what looked like maps and clipboards, but we walked by them thinking we'd find an info booth or tourist agency. We didn't. Only hawkers. So, we did approach one of these people. He led us... More

Along Main Street, the restored buildings are GREAT, BEAUTIFUL stone structures. The shops sell mostly duplicate items, T shirts and tourist ___ to those silly enough to buy that stuff with imprinted ST. THOMAS, USVI. Lived there, done that, have the T shirt! The USVI has two great things to experience - Carnival in February and Hurricanes in (UN predictable!).

I adore Charlie and his entire family. I have purchased beautiful pieces every year. Visiting with the family is always the highlight of my trip. This is a place that truly delivers on their promise. You just can't go wrong here. Enjoy every moment in good health.

This Historical place has been turned into a shopping area. There are numerous jeweleryshops, selling more less the same jewelery. You need to learn to say no, otherwise you will be pulled into each and every shop, you are hereby warned. Most shops Closes when the Cruise guest are leaving for the Cruise ships, So most days shops, cafe's and restaurants... LOTS of great little shops!!! And...an outlandish amount of jewelry stores. You're GUARANTEED to find THE ring at THE price you want if you're looking for it there!!! Depending on the day though, you may be bombarded with tourists from the cruise ships as well. As long as you aren't trying to get away from people...you should be fine lol.... More

We have been on many cruises and I thought this area was one of the nicest. It was very safe and the shops were clean and air-conditioned. I did not feel over-pressured and found they had a lot of different shops beyond the typical jewelry stores. I love Fresh Produce clothing and Billabong. There were some great little restaurants that... More

Different type of stores to go into and look around. Their were street people asking you to come into their store but, not inpolite. You could find little stores in a small corner with so much to go into and look at such fun stuff. There was nothing to dislike on our trip

Our experience was not the best - but no fault of the 'Main Street'. There were seven ships in port the day we visited. Lots and lots of shops - many selling the same things. Did pick up some gifts for family.

Don't get the whole notion of duty free jewelry. It all looked very expensive to me and most shops have people on the curb harassing you to go into their store. I just wanted a T-Shirt.
