We attended a wedding at Lindquist beach. It was the pefect setting for the wedding. However, we did not see any signs identifying the beach, so it is easy to miss. A nominal fee of $2 per person is charged to viisit the beach. While there is ample parking, the bathrooms are porta potties ( new bathrooms are being built... More

This is a great beach to lounge all day. Beautiful white sands and the beach is pretty large so no need to squeeze next to strangers. Water is clear of rocks and coral for the most part so not the best for snorkeling, but great for swimming.

While staying at Point Pleasant Resort, we started each day at the beach. Our favorite was Lindquist. It is in the process of being developed, so it is still pristine, and has nice shady areas with picnic tables. We did see one cruise ship tour, but if you get there before 9 am, you may feel like you have the... More

This beach is very pretty with lots of shade. They are in the process of building bathrooms and a few shelters for parties/picnics. The port-a-potties that are there now are very well maintained. This is also a great place to snorkel. Just go to the other side of the large coral reef. The water here has a few more waves... More

We went during a cruise port of call. There were probably about 4-6 families on the beach. The water is calm enough for our 8 and 5 year old to play in. Snorkeling was so-so as there was a lot of grass in the right side of the bay, but not a lot of fish. We did see a couple... More

Four of us went there. The three that snorkeled had a great time. I stayed at the picnic table under the shade and drank in the lovely scenery and some run drinks which we brought along. BUT by the time I got back to our cruise ship, the no-see-'ums attack was visible all over me. I was totally miserable for... More

This beach is gearing up to be beautiful; come on over before it is also overrun. My wife and I spent a lazy afternoon at Lindquist and it was just what we wanted. There is fresh development to increase access and use of this Smith Bay beach and it will be even more delightful when the bathrooms and showers are... More

The beach was great for walking and lounging. Plenty of room to spread out in the beautiful white sand. The restrooms/showers were not open yet, but they look like they will be great once that happens.

We stopped in St Thomas on a cruise and booked a shore excursion through the ship called "Secret Sands Beach." This beach was beautiful! There is a limit to only 50 people so the beach will not be crowded, even on busy days (we had close to 18,000 people in port with us). Our excursion included unlimited rum punch, beer... More
