This beach has been a part of my childhood so I have lots of memories there. It's quite, pristine and has the warmest water on island. It's on my agenda to visit at least once a week.

Surf break on both sides.. still unsure if they would let you surf? Nice beach.. construction ongoing with it becoming part of Magen's Bay Authority. Back right up to beach. Open tailgate. Enjoy. When tide is high watch out for roots on shade trees (where you need to put your towels) Our little boy fell over on one. Overall we... More

What a great location. Beach sand was like powder. Nothing there yet, but they are working on it. Lifeguard on duty most days. Sea moss was a little heavy this year but every effort was made to rake it up. Beautiful spot. I will be back in February

Linquist beach was an exceptionally beautiful beach that set the bar high. You simply must come here. It is true that there are no facilites but that should not deter you from experiencing one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. When we asked to come here the taxi driver immediately asked me how I knew about this place.... More

When we visited this beach, there were not a lot of people around, which made it nice for us. There is no food, chairs, etc. Just a place to go and relax. See my pics on my blog of my write up of the different beaches we visit at winenchocolate dot com

We read about Linquist beach on tripadvisor.com and decided to try it on our cruise stop in St Thomas. Taxi from the cruise port was $10.00 pp each way and it's about a 20 min drive. Of course the taxi drivers will try to sell you on Megan's Bay or Koki Beach. It's very close to Koki beach and much... More

Could not find beach because of all the construction and there was a barricade set up but we asked and were advised to go down the road anyway. Beach park is being renovated to match others on the island. A lot of seaweed but it was being raked and bagged as we were there. Water was the beautiful turquoise.

Lindquist Beach is a lesser known, hard to find, long & thin beach on the east side of the island, about 1 mile north of Red Hook. There are no markings on the main street, but it has a concrete entrance which looks out of place. Admission is $2 pp and administered by the Magens Bay authority, which means the... More

Thought this place would be awesome. It has a nice beach but the snorkeling is not good. Nothing to see.

This is my favorite beach on St. Thomas. Nice and quiet, not usually over-ridden with cruise ship passengers. Some seaweed, but workers seem to clean on a regular basis.
