This was a wonderful trip! Our Captains - Al and Carrie were absolutely wonderful. The perfect group - 6 passengers and 2 crew went to Virgin Gorda "The Baths" for snorkeling and then to just off Norman "Treasure" Island. Carrie regaled us with tales of the Creque family finding treasure while waiting out a rainstorm back in about 1918.......She and... More

Took stormy petrel tour 1st week of August. Nice intimate cruise with only 12 people max. Very knowledgeable staff, Jug and Kevin. Lots of history and earth sciences. Extremely unusual path through the Baths, a little advanced but cool. Great for those who like to snorkel and like to learn about the places they visit. Kevin makes a mean rum... More

We booked with this group based on other reviews and had a great experience with Jug and Kevin on the Stormy Petrel. The trip to Virgin Gorda was excellent. The crew entertained us with "history, lore and legend" as we made the trek over to the Baths. The baths were not crowded since we went on a non-cruise ship day... More

We booked the trip for Stormy Petrel and what an awesome experience! There were 11 of us on the tour and Captain Jug and Carrie were just wonderful and informative. Once we arrived at the Baths I wasn't expecting to go through the caves but Carrie was very attentive and guided us all through. Lunch at Cooper Island was great...... More

We couldn't have been happier with our day spent onboard Stormy Petrel. We started at The Baths where we went on a great guided tour (off of the normal tourist trail). We had lunch at Cooper Island and then finished up at Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke. Our captain, Jug, was personable and friendly, and his crew member... More

An outstanding trip to the Baths, Cooper Island for lunch, and The famous Soggy Dollar Bar for a stop on the way back. The Captain and Mate were the most professional I have ever sailed with and provided outstanding customer service. It was a perfect day in Paradise.

We were a party of six, and five more people were booked on the outing. Eleven sounds like a lot of people for the boat, but it was a very comfortable sized group. And it was a lot smaller and more intimate than the majority of other excursion boats we saw, which all looked, to my mind, overcrowded. I prefer... More

I booked a day on Pirate's Penny and seriously wasn't expecting it to be so amazing! Captain Perry and Carrie were very friendly, professional and took care of everything. Carrie did a great job telling us a little about the history of the BVI, the Baths and making sure everyone was comfortable. (We forgot sunglasses because the day started out... More

Fantastic day on Pirates Penny visiting the British Virgin Islands. Captain Al and Meghan were so friendly and knowledgeable, definitely helped make the day great. I did this tour several years ago and debated trying another tour/boat. So glad we stuck with Pirates Penny. The max number of people they will take is 12 - as opposed to some of... More

What a day! We were looking for a new trip to make while we were at the Marriott Cove resort and really found one. And yes, the ratings for this site are correct, they do more than you'd ever expect to make your day a very memorable experience. We actually were on five islands in a single day! We had... More
