We booked a day sail with New Horizons a 65 foot sail boat that was the most relaxing day we have had in a long time. The Captain said the winds were light so it made the sailing gentle and peaceful. While the boat was lazily sailing, we were served some very tasty muffins and mimosa that just kept coming.... more

Reading some of these reviews I can’t believe that some had a bad experience. We took the trip in Jun09 and it was great. The caption and the staff were personable and friendly. Everything was better than excepted. I wish we could have spend some more time at some of the destinations but we did a lot in a day.... more

I would Not use New Horizons for any excursions. Last week a group of us where going through the baths at Virgin Gorda and the Horizon staff was very rude. Telling people not to come up the ladders, and yelling at one of their members for forgetting his shoes, the man was in his 60's. One of the employees for... more

We decided to do the day trip to the British Virgin Islands. Our powerboat was New Horizons II and there were 12 people in our group. My only concern throughout the whole trip was the day of our trip, it was pouring rain all day all over the islands. Rain for long periods of time is very unusual in STT... more

I can't believe there are bad reviews for this. We loved it. While it is true that you're really packed in on the boat, that was fine because everyone was very friendly. If you're on time you can sit under the cover in the front. The late people who held everyone up had to sit in the back with the... more

My partner and I took the full day trip to the British Virgin Islands with New Horizons and had a great time. Drinks were flowing. Music was playing. Sun was shining. It was a fabulous experience. The day starts early at 7:15 and doesn't end until 4:30 and plan to spend quite a bit of time on the boat as... more

I went on a day tour on the Breakaway II boat, and both the captain and first mate were attentive and professional the entire day. Not only were we served drinks all day (in sippy cups!), but when I left my camera on Virgin Gourda, they called the port authority and picked it up for me the next day. I... more

I agree with the other posts that this trip is worth skipping. The Baths are a must see but not being herded like cattle. They even fuss over their customers needing rest room breaks. I watched them fuss over a little girl needing to go to the restroom. I'm glad her parents ignored the captain's assistent. Marina Cay was a... more

In Nov 2008, we took the day tour of the BVI with New Horizons. The boat was the Breakaway. I would not recommend this company and highly suggest booking through another if you are considering a day tour. Although the assistant was pleasant, the captain of the boat was not. And worst of all they pack you in like sardines!!!... more
