Located on St. Thomas' north shore, the beach at Hull Bay faces Inner and Outer Brass cays and attracts fishermen, beachcombers and, because it is open to rough Atlantic waters, is considered one of the best places to surf on the island.

The beach is dirty, hard to find and in general not a place to visit unless you have nothing else to do in life.

If it is a Tuesday or Wednesday with 5-6 cruise ships in port and the goal is to avoid Megan's Bay at all cost, this is a quiet alternative for a relaxing day in the sun without the crowds on the north shore of St. Thomas. It is definitely a local's beach with many small boats moored on the west... More

Hull Bay This the place I would go when the cruise boats are in and Maagens bay is overcrowded with people on a tight schedule. Most of the people on the beach are locals and very friendly. The beach is small and we went there the day they had their “cleaning party” It was therefore pristine. Very different from the... More

We stopped for lunch (we packed one) and enjoyed the relative quiet on a busy cruise ship day while staying on STT. The beach is natural and not groomed, but very pretty and off the beaten path.

Hull Bay is a charming beach with a local flair. Very laid back atmosphere. Plenty of shade spots to escape the sun if you need to. The snorkeling is ok. We did see a Ray up close and personal which was cool. Had lunch at the Hull Bay Hideaway which was great.

We enjoyed a day here away from the cruise crowds. Web at the water sports rental was very friendly. We rented a SUP. Web provided instructions and made sure we were comfortable before heading out on our own. Plenty of parking and no fee.

We went here and this is a very kick back beach to just hang out on with the locals. Make sure you check out Hull Bay Hideaway (good sushi)

Have been spending a lot of time down in Hull Bay recently. The Hideaway is looking great! Good food, good people, good music! Check it out!! Beach is dog friendly. The restaurant is great for kids, lots of open space.

Traveled there to chill and relax. What a great beach! We had planned a snorkel adventure there, but because of storms, couldnt make it in the water. Just being there to walk the beach and take in sights was worth it. I'll book again with St Thomas Snorkel and Scuba!

This beach might disappoint if you're trying to spend equal time here and Magen's. This beach is a bit rocky but there are places to swim. It has a much more local vibe. It irked my wife at first because we left Magens and this place isn't as nice, but it's just a different type of beach. The beach has... More
