The beach is excellent white sand. The water is beautiful. There were only three other people. There were two food trucks if you needed something, we did not. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Recommend highly.

Adjacent to the airport. Very few tourists and one food truck on the road. Does have restrooms, picnic tables, and shaded areas. Gentle surf and a favorite of locals--nice, maintained beach.
this beach is very close to the university of the VI and airport and has a very large beach, with beautiful calm waters. the day we visited, it was almost deserted, with the exception of a few other individuals. plenty of shells to find and the snorkeling was okay. there is no food here, except for the food trucks (try...

This is a very nice beach just west of the airport on Rt 30 West. It is the beach you can seen from the end of the runway when leaving. Very quiet beach, little wave action so it is great for younger children. This is more of a local beach than a tourist beach. There is a nice beachhouse to...

This beach was certainly mostly locals the day we were there but still a lot of fun. No lifeguard present as other's have mentioned and the only food was local food trucks, which we did not take advantage of. It was somewhat rocky but the waves were nice and gentle and we enjoyed out afternoon. Parking can be a bit...

Snorkeling, saw a ray. Quiet beach where the locals seem to come. So many beaches here on the islands. Each has its' own uniqueness. this has lots of parking and few people. Whoever we met seemed to be locals or those temporary workers. All good! and beautiful sunset!
A nice place to spend the day away from tourists. They only down side is that it is near the airport so you get to listen to the planes unless you like watching and listening to airplanes.
We visited Tortola in April on a cruise holiday and asked in Port for a quieter beach location. The tour/taxi driver took a group of us across the island for a resonable fare and stayed at the beach until our return which was very reassuring. Brewers bay is a fantastic location with a beautiful palm fringed, white sand beach, safe...

near the airport, water was very nice, quiet beach, a place where the locals hang out. No lifeguard when we were there.
Brewer's is a beautiful beach on the west side of the University of the Virgin Islands just past the airport. It's pretty quiet throughout the week and nice n' social on Sundays. It's pretty much a local beach, not a lot of tourists, which is really nice for days when you want to avoid crowds. My favorite thing about this...
