Nightwind is a full service day sail and snorkel excursion, sailing to St John and other small islands suitable for young and old alike. Our niche is private sails for families and groups up to 15 guests. We offer open sails as well for those wishing to meet and sail with new friends. We sail and snorkel at two different locations during our full day sail. Our offerings include continental breakfast, snacks, lunch, dessert and an open bar (something for everyone).Nightwind sails from Sapphire Marina on the East End of St. Thomas close to Red Hook. Captain Rick and First Mate Wes offer top notch personalized service from the moment you step onto the deck of Nightwind. Booking is simple and easy you may book online or for a more person touch you can call and speak with Cathy to confirm your sail on Nightwind.

We are "frequent flyers" on this boat - coming back year after year. It still rates as one of the highlights of our trip to St. Thomas every year. Where else can you find affable crew with Captain Rick and First Mate Deb? Where else do you go where the wind takes you for a morning of snorkeling? Where else... More

We had an awesome day on the water with Captain Rick and Debra. It was a beautiful sail with lots of great food and drinks. We were well taken care of. The snorkelling was great.

Capt Rick and 1st mate, Deb, give you an unforgettable experience aboard the Nightwind. You sail to St John (lots of charters just motor you over...boring) and snorkel at places that the beach goers can't reach. Then they feed you a delicious chicken lunch. And, of course, the drinks are all included, so drink up. This will be the best... More

If you are looking to get out on the water for a day this sailboat and crew were amazing. Before you even start they put out a fantastic breakfast and many different drink choices. They only take up to 15 people so plenty of room to move around on the boat as you sail from St. Thomas to St. John.... More

Captain Rick and First Mate Deb were great! They made us feel comfortable from the moment we stepped on the boat. Our party consisted of 8 adults; family celebrating together. It was a perfect day. We started out sailing with breakfast and libations! We spent about an hour at our first snorkel destination and then had lunch on the boat.... More

Captain Rick and Deb were perfect hosts on this day long excursion. The taxi driver met us right outside of security and dropped us off at the marina. The boat is beautiful and well kept. The sailing was divine - we had the perfect weather for sailing. Heeling (leaning the boat over while sailing) was so much fun! We had... More

Just returned from a trip to St. Thomas and this was by far the best day on the water. They delivered what they advertised -- lots of fish, swimming with the turtles and some real sailing. And "real" food & alcohol. Great excursion for just about everyone -- unless you don't like being on a sailboat when the winds are... More

Our group of 12 had the most memorable and fun time on the Nightwind with Captain Rick and Deb. We used Islander Taxi service, as recommended by Rick, to take us from our cruise ship to the Nightwind. Alvin was waiting for us at the appointed time when we disembarked and was waiting for us at the dock when we... More

We went on our second trip with Rick on his beautiful boat, the Nightwind. If you are in St. Thomas and want the most laid back way to see the beauty of St. John and the waters/reefs of the area, I can not recommend them highly enough! Fantastic crew!!! We can wait until our next trip back to St. Thomas... More
