Nice local beach where everyone knows each other. You must order from the local bar/restaurant in order to use the beach chairs. on weekends, late afternoon a tour comes in from the cruise ships. Nice sunset.

The first time I visited this beach I thought I was in heaven. There are not too many people on the beach (until excursions from cruise ships turn up.) The beach is the perfect size and the water, crystal clear and perfect. We have even seen turtles swimming in the grasses to the left. BUT, the last time we were... More

Nice beach. Do the Ecotour if you end up on this beach. Its well worth the money! And ask for Robb, he is a great tour guide!

I must confess straight up that I am not really a beach person, but for this stretch of immaculate sand, clear water and wonderful quiet, I doubt you could do better. Even the load of university-age kids on a boat couldn't ruin the experience. Amenities are few so it is advisable to pack water and something to eat. If you... More

A nice break from the more touristy St. Thomas and just a ten minute water taxi ride between the islands. Walked less than 1/2 a mile to Honeymoon Beach, which is quiet and flanked by two beach bars. Made for a lovely afternoon escape.

That's right, I said it! It's better than Magen's Bay. You have to pay to ferry over, but beyond that there is no entrance fee. Free chairs and calm/serene waters. The two bars on the island serve up great beach food and drinks that are comparably priced!

We enjoyed time here during our Blackbeards Revenge Pirate Boat excursion. What a beautiful beach! It's everything you can imagine complete with a palm tree lined beach and sail boats off in the distance. Can't wait to go back someday.

Grab a ferry from St. Thomas to Water Island. At the dock, rent a golf cart from Kelly's Karts. Explore the island. (remember to Keep Left) Check out the ruins of the fort. Find Honeymoon Beach and spend the rest of the day. Look for Dan and try Flyboarding. Eat at Heidi's. ENJOY THE DAY ON WATER ISLAND - bet... More

Honeymoon beach is beautiful, but is a decent walk from their parking lot. It is very narrow beach but it was very secluded while we were there, so there was plenty of room. I suggest going there in the early morning before cruise ships let off. Bring bug spray as theres plenty of mosquitos because its a woodsy area. Great... More
