The ocean is the bluest I've seen and is the best place to find sea turtles! Though you have to watch out in the evening because the mosquitos there are awful! But other than that, Great Beach!

Trying to come up with one word that could describe this is impossible. Beautiful, serene, fun they all fit. I highly suggest that when in St. Thomas you make this a must see .

Saw the beach from the water. The underwater life was GREAT. Barracuda, octopus, sting ray, good coral growth.

Honeymoon beach is small, but clean and quiet and perfect for relaxation. It is a short walk from the ferry dock and a good place for a morning visit. We didn't stay for more than a few hours, but it was nice for sunning and not crowded at all. Good place for families, as the kids can run around and... More

This is the only sandy tourist beach on Water Island. It has two bars with good drinks, and the beach is very nice, but only about 600ft. The beach has regular tourist boats (notably the Kon Tiki) which visit regularly. Many people go directly from cruise ships to the beach. I took a 10 minute $10 round trip ferry from... More

We took a ferry over to Water Island! It only took a few minutes from the dock in St. Thomas. We walked up the hill, took a left, walked a little more and discovered the most beautiful beach to our right. We enjoyed a quiet beach for several hours until a large boat arriving with a band and over 50... More

The vendor that was selling food grill broke down so we could not buy anything to eat so I just had an expensive sprite. This beach was part of the Kon Tiki excursion through our... More

This was our lunch stop after a morning of snorkeling - The beach looked nice from a distance but… 1) the beach was dirty with bits and pieces of trash, leaves/twigs, dead fish in the water 2) there was a number of boats from small to medium size that dock - they take up a good portion of the beach/water... Quiet, great place to relax. Take the ferry over from Crown Bay Marina. It's a really really quick walk from the dock, you don't need a car or rental or taxi. On Monday Nights, they have movie night, which is really great. Bring bug spray.

Please read reviews of Honeymoon Beach with a critical eye. Some reviews are misleading because they are posted to the wrong location. If a review mentions access to beach only by boat or a long hike, great snorkeling, and few beach-goers the review is probably of the Honeymoon Beach on St. John which is part of the National Park. Honeymoon... More
