Secluded, perfect little beach. Perfect beach for hanging out in the water as I noticed very few rocks/coral....and its fairly shallow quite a ways out. Not crowded.
Honeymoon beach is only accessible by boat, therefore it is very quiet. We were there with on a cruise excursion. The water is calm and crystal clear. A wonderful beach for children. There are limited facilities. Loved our afternoon here.
We spent the $5/per person each way to take the ferry from STT to water island. It's a little hike from the ferry dock to the beach. Maybe 1/4mile? Don't be afraid to walk, it's just a little steep but there is decent signage. This beach is gorgeous! Looking back at our pictures, these are my favorites. You will see... More
My family & I went to this beach, during one of the days that our cruise ship was docked in St Thomas. We knew everyone on the ship would be going to Magen's Bay on an excursion, and we wanted to stay away from the crowd. Boy did we hit the jackpot w/this beach!! It definitely is a hidden gem!... More
Looked like perfect Caribbean beach. lunch buffet was good. Drinks at the local bar were tasty--like a mudslide! View was great. Not crowded. We sailed in on a Castaway Cat excursion tour.
This was our best day trip ! This beach is out of a dream! The drinks were amazing food stand was great and reasonable priced , the staff was so friendly! Snorkling was awesome just have to be careful of the boats coming in .. There's turtles there I didn't see one but great fish and I did see a... More
A five minute walk from the dock at Crown Bay to where the yachts are moored will put you at the water taxi to Water Island for $10.00 round trip. Operates hourly. Although you can walk to Honeymoon Beach (about 10 minutes), we took the courtesy ride with Dinghy's. They offer food and drink at the beach and free use... More
On our yacht tour we stopped for awhile at Honeymoon Beach. Awesome!!! Very private, lots of shell searching, relaxing and nice spot to swim.
After having vacationed on the beaches of St. John for many years we decided to try something different based on the reviews of this beach. Folks, this is NOT St. John. It is an average small cove with coarse un-groomed sand, lots of excursion boats and the restrooms were locked when we were there. There were no lockers or showers... More
Best way to spend a day. Enjoyed a pleasant day here, all the amenities you need, the place livens up for an hour or so when the Con tiki arrives with some cruise ship folks but it just adds to the fun.
