This tiny little town is an ode to relaxation and reflection. It's architecture is reminiscent to an era goneby. The simplicity of its architecture and the breathtaking beauty of the harbor is superb. There's very little shopping here but the selfies can be awesome.

We walked around the township and discovered it to be fairly poor away from the tourist areas. There are some beautiful old buildings but quite neglected. Caters very much for the tourists close to the beach which is very pretty.

I am a native of St. Croix but I have been away for over 20years my husband is a Floridian. This island of St. Croix is a treasure cove of a rich culture always seems to amaze me. My husband and I did some exploring and found some really interesting facts, food, and native items not found on the main... More

If you come here during a cruise ship it gets pretty busy. If you are looking for a relaxing day then make sure there isn't a cruise ship. It's fun to walk around and see the town and the buildings

This was our last stop on a 7 day cruise. We LOVED this port! We didn't do any tours because we were exhausted after a port every day. We docked at a beautiful dock area. No container ships, just beautiful water and scenery. There is a shuttle bus that takes you from the ship to the shop area, but you... More

Nice quiet town except when cruise ship at dock and then town comes alive. Though a bit run down the town was clean for the most parts. Interesting architecture and could be plenty of opportunities for someone in the rehab business. Felt safe all the time while there, unlike some other carribbean locations I've visited. No begging, hustle or other... More

On Sat, Jan 16 our cruise ship arrived in St Croix. Now I realize it was Saturday morning, but the town of Frederiksted looked almost abandoned! A little background is in order, though. St Croix has only recently started promoting tourism. There's no duty free shopping area. It's still very rustic with temporary stands set up everywhere. There is a... More

Downtown Frederiksted is a charming town with great historic architecture and unique shops. You can also experience local eateries, the beach and pier all on foot.

Our last port of call! This is a quaint little port. The waterfront boardwalk is beautifully lined with flower and trees. There were several little tents set up along the boardwalk offering various items. We did walk around the town itself and found a wonderful little bakery, well worth the stop! There is a beach very close to the port... More

OMGODNESS!!!!! I love the beaches and the people of the west end!! Daily swimming in the AM and nightly swimming at Sunset. It is a ritual for Cruzans. Fresh fish from the fishermen at the dock. Franklin's, Polly's, and Najia's give this area a unique charm. THE WEST IS BEST!!!!
