We did the Geckos ATV 2FER package, so enjoyed one hour of jet skiing in the ocean. It was not very rough, I likened it to a windy day at our local lake. The beach is covered in pebbles and coral and the largest pieces of sea glass I found anywhere on the island. Really enjoyed hanging out and looking... More

Not the greatest beach in the world, but worth going to if you're in the area. We explored the island and ended up here. Worth it

We stopped at Rainbow Beach mid Sept. to ride horses with Jennifer at Cruzan Cowgirls. Had a great time. Water is so clear and mostly calm. Nearly perfect. The café onsite seems a bit expensive but the food was good. They rent beach chairs but not loungers, that was the only drawback.

The beach itself is extremely chill and relaxing. As is the case with Caribbean beaches, there aren't huge waves crashing, but the water is a gorgeous, perfect teal color. However, be careful of the rocks! There are some pretty large rocks under the water, so you may want to consider wearing some water shoes if you're planning on wading out... More

Everyone has fun, locals, vacationers, and transplants. They have water sports, food, drinks. On Sunday's they have live music. I have been going to rainbow beach for 41 yrs. The bar has changed owners and now you have all sorts of water sports but everything else is the same. The beach changes over time, hurricane etc , sometimes it's has... More

At $6 per person (round trip) take the short taxi ride from the ship. Do this yourself, don't overpay for a shore excursion! The beach is lovely and wasn't too crowded. You can rent chairs and umbrellas at a reasonable rate and there is a little bar/cafe for snacks. They also rent wave runners. The water is crystal clear and... More

This is a lovely beach where the water is quite calm and protected. There are facilities along the beach front as well as a number of restaurants and beach gear rentals including paddle boards and snorkel gear. Grab lunch in Frederiksted and hit the beach!

Aside from some whimsical man-made reefs, e.g., toilets and The Thinker, some really nice natural stuff. My wife had a sea turtle almost swim into her mask. After snorkeling, walk up to Rhythms for munchies, drinks, and shore fun.

We had a wonderful experience at Rainbow Beach and the Jet skiing was great. The water is definitely less choppy on the west side of the island and you are allowed to go out pretty far. Prices are reasonable. Staff is very friendly

I don't doubt that this was once a beautiful beach. But, the erosion has been severe in the last few months. I often see travelers complaining about "rocky" beaches, and there's only like a rock or two. It looks fine, until you step into the water. Once you step into the water you realize it is all rocks. There is... More
