I don't doubt that this was once a beautiful beach. But, the erosion has been severe in the last few months. I often see travelers complaining about "rocky" beaches, and there's only like a rock or two. It looks fine, until you step into the water. Once you step into the water you realize it is all rocks. There is... More

I am writing this review under the premise that this is the beach that is located near the area where the cruise ship docks. Exit the pier and turn left and you find the beach awaiting you. There are multiple vendors along this stretch of beach who will rent you chairs some others will rent snorkel gear, paddle boards and... More

The beach here is terrible. You have to go out 20-30 feet to get to sand. Too many rocks and simply not worth it.

My hubby and I stayed at the Mount Victory Camp and walked down to Rainbow beach daily in the am. The white sand was soft and clean. The water was also clean and inviting. Sunsets were magical here. Not many people so you always feel you have the beach to yourself. The only negative would be the trash. Otherwise one... More

Friday ends the week and a bunch of us head out to Rainbow Beach on a regular basis to bring in the weekend. It has wonderful sand and a really great volleyball net. You can rent anything you need there as well like chairs, umbrellas, kayaks and a jet ski or two. If you get hungry or thirsty, there is... More

Wonderful beach for all activities. The water is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. There is a great restaurant that has rental beach equipment at reasonable prices.

We, two adults and 10 year old boy, arrived at St. Croix by RC cuise ship. One beach was very close to the pier, so many people walked to there. We looked for a quiet beach, so we decided to go to Rainbow Beach. It took only several minutes from the port to the beach and cost $8 for round... More

Had a great time at Rainbow beach. Spent the day there amidst our ATV/jet ski excursion with Gecko's Island Adventures and West End Water Sports. Not the biggest beach but loved it! Rhythms had some hard working bartenders, good food, and friendly service. The water sport rental guys Brian & Scott were so awesome and worked their tails off providing... More

This is a very nice beach. A lot of waves. Cute little restaurant/bar to get drinks and food. They also rent water sports equipment. We spend an afternoon here in March and really enjoyed ourselves. It was only about a mile from the cruise ship port.

We ventured to the west side of island to check it out - a friend recommended this beach. It is great for several reasons: good restaurant, shop/rentals if you need it, calm surf, and people watching. The beach was more crowded (relative - maybe 25 people there, but many east end beaches were empty!), but folks seemed to be locals... More
