Our first experience in St. Criox wasn't very positive so we were hoping that Rainbow would turn that around. It was a fabulous first day of our cruise and incredibly relaxing. Good chairs, good sun, surf and sand. Decent food (on island time). Seemed like a lot of things to do if you weren't into just chilling on the beach.... More

Sailed on the Jolly Mon to Rainbow Beach. Beach is Great with plenty of snorkeling areas to enjoy. Beaches in St. Croix are public so enjoy the walk for as far as you like. There is a nice Restaurant, Water Sports business right on the beach. Chairs and umbrellas are available to rent too. If you are on a cruise... More

When the cruise ships are not docked the beaches are very quiet and even when they are there if you drive a little out of town they are still quiet and uncrowded. Beautiful white sand, great swimming and snorkling if you wish. My favorite beach in St. Croix

We had a blast! It was very fun being able to do alot of activities, such as looking for shells, but while snorkling, I couldn't see any fish hardly, but we really didn't go all that far.

We visited this beach twice during our stay in St. Croix during the last week of January. I can understand the reviews referring to the crowds. We were fortunate to visit on days without a cruise ship in port. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves, and it is a nice beach! We rented chairs; were prepared with our... More

Easy to get to from the cruise ship by taxi. Clean. Not expensive (chairs and umbrella). Very friendly staff.

Rainbow Beach is the farthest of three beaches from the Frederiksted pier where cruise ships dock a couple of days a week during the winter. They have many rental opportunities, from chairs and umbrellas to wave runners. There's also a volleyball net and corn hole game, plus a nice restaurant/bar to make your day complete. The beach is also a... More

By far the best beach on the island given you have a bar/restaurant right on the scene and a place you can rent chairs, umbrellas, jet skis and snorkel gear. They also have corn hole and jenga games you can play for free!

Beach was average at best. Crowded & not a great abundance of umbrellas or lounges available even at the $30 charge. Vendors galore which makes it uncomfortable. Water access rocky as well. Didn't eat there, but restaurant didn't look appealing. Drinks, were very expensive.
