Everyone has fun, locals, vacationers, and transplants. They have water sports, food, drinks. On Sunday's they have live music. I have been going to rainbow beach for 41 yrs. The bar has changed owners and now you have all sorts of water sports but everything else is the same. The beach changes over time, hurricane etc , sometimes it's has... More

At $6 per person (round trip) take the short taxi ride from the ship. Do this yourself, don't overpay for a shore excursion! The beach is lovely and wasn't too crowded. You can rent chairs and umbrellas at a reasonable rate and there is a little bar/cafe for snacks. They also rent wave runners. The water is crystal clear and... More

This is a lovely beach where the water is quite calm and protected. There are facilities along the beach front as well as a number of restaurants and beach gear rentals including paddle boards and snorkel gear. Grab lunch in Frederiksted and hit the beach!

Aside from some whimsical man-made reefs, e.g., toilets and The Thinker, some really nice natural stuff. My wife had a sea turtle almost swim into her mask. After snorkeling, walk up to Rhythms for munchies, drinks, and shore fun.

We had a wonderful experience at Rainbow Beach and the Jet skiing was great. The water is definitely less choppy on the west side of the island and you are allowed to go out pretty far. Prices are reasonable. Staff is very friendly

I don't doubt that this was once a beautiful beach. But, the erosion has been severe in the last few months. I often see travelers complaining about "rocky" beaches, and there's only like a rock or two. It looks fine, until you step into the water. Once you step into the water you realize it is all rocks. There is... More

I am writing this review under the premise that this is the beach that is located near the area where the cruise ship docks. Exit the pier and turn left and you find the beach awaiting you. There are multiple vendors along this stretch of beach who will rent you chairs some others will rent snorkel gear, paddle boards and... More

The beach here is terrible. You have to go out 20-30 feet to get to sand. Too many rocks and simply not worth it.

My hubby and I stayed at the Mount Victory Camp and walked down to Rainbow beach daily in the am. The white sand was soft and clean. The water was also clean and inviting. Sunsets were magical here. Not many people so you always feel you have the beach to yourself. The only negative would be the trash. Otherwise one... More

Friday ends the week and a bunch of us head out to Rainbow Beach on a regular basis to bring in the weekend. It has wonderful sand and a really great volleyball net. You can rent anything you need there as well like chairs, umbrellas, kayaks and a jet ski or two. If you get hungry or thirsty, there is... More
