The action of this attraction is on and under the water. If you don’t snorkel or dive, don’t go. We snorkeled the pier in August and it was beautiful. I wish we dove, because this place would be amazing. Each concrete pillar is an island and different, with sponges, soft coral, anomie, feather worms. Small fish swim around each one.... More

They'll play music if you arrive by cruise ship. They'll have shops. Water though is a lot more salty than other swim places. Almost made it unenjoyable. Great snorkeling. Saw more fish here than anywhere else we dove. There was an old rusted cannon on the bottom.

One of the best shore dive experiences to be had. Just step off the pier and fall into the water. The piers pilings are covered top to bottom in corals. When the sun hits them at an angle, the colors are stunning. I feel like every time I dive or snorkel here I see something new. Definitely a great place... More

The pier had huge changes after Hurricane Hugo in 1989. I use to go out to the pier as a teen and read books. Diving under the pier is incredible but watch out for the fire coral. :-) It use to have many Navel ships, now it's cruise ships once per week. It's all grown up now. Crystal water everywhere... This pier is a must not the pier it self but the water below the pier. We snorkeled there and then decided it was so neat we had to do a scuba dive trip. The sea life was great and all the growth on the piers was amazing, nothing like it.

We traveled to St Croix in August. We felt like we had the island to ourselves and the pier was no exception. We walked across the beach from the parking lot and didnt see a single person. Nor was there anyone on the pier. The view of the beaches from the pier was fantastic. you can see the island from... More

We dove the pier in the late afternoon and after dark. It was very fun to compare the dives and types of underwater life. It's a 40 ft dive and we dove with Sweet Bottom from Renaissance Carambola Resort. We saw seahorses and octopus. It was great! PS if you are down there eat at a great local bar called... More

A must when you go to St. Croix....The water is so clear and you see alot of other species. A nice area where the ships come in to shop and eat.
