The pier is really for the cruise ship, once that departs the place is a ghost town and is not the safest to go to. We were told though at 8pm to go to the end of the pier and see sea turtles which we opted not to do for safety reasons. If you do got there, park close to... More

This is a nice site on cruiseship days. There is a lot of local color and lots going on. If Richard Schrader has his booth set up, buy one of the books he has written about local life. The Fort is full of info on the slave trade as it relates to St Croix - very well done. It also... More

Only one cruise ship docked and a short walk to the main tourist area. Plenty of taxis await you or you can walk past the secured area and haggle with a taxi for a cheaper price. Felt safe and the walk along the beach was very close. More

We had heard that there was abundant marine life on the pier so we headed over to N2the blue to get kitted up. Derrick took care of us there and we walked right out to the pier and dove in. Lots of sponges, corals and fish to be found and I would say it's a great dive for the novice... More

The pier is nice and you walk off right to the beach. there were many vendors set along the road. The beach was great with lots of shells and watch for glass! getting into the water in certain places was a little tricky with all the rocks. Easy to be knocked down several times and yes I had that expereince!... More

It was not a ship day, so no street sellers out. We mostly were there for the rest and beauty, did not do much touring. We went to Christenstred one day and to Fredrekstred one day. Taxi's to Christensted are $30 round trip. Be sure to check, if you care like we do, to buy local arts and products. Most... More

Snorkeling here was like going to the aquarium. We brought our own masks, snorkels and water socks, so it was free. There's supposed to be octopus there. We didn't see any, but that's just an excuse to come back. More
