A very interesting look at plantation life. Well worth a visit. With just a little work it could be a great attraction. The main house has been preserved/restored and looks amazing. We enjoy visiting historical sites, this site is no different. We arrived at the plantation at 3:30 in the afternoon. We walked onto the grounds and saw 2 women who appeared to be the tour guides. They were very busy sitting at a picnic table, under the shade of majestic plantation trees. We started to walk up the steps of...

We love Whim - the Great House has a good docent tour, the other buildings are interesting. Nice gift shop and good signage in the informational sections. Monthly classical recitals/performances.

House and contents very well maintained, kept very much like it was 100 years ago.

There were very creative decorations that incorporated natural plants and berries in making wreathes...
