The beautiful grounds showcase a picturesque 1700s restored home, a windmill, a bath-house, and the workings of a sugar plantation. The guided tour was informative and interesting! Two of us toured the Whim Plantation at the end of the day and we were the only ones there which made it very enjoyable. You can pay two different admission prices: one for a guided tour of the Greathouse and one for a do it yourself tour of the Greathouse. We paid the extra and it was worth it.... more

A marvelously restored Carribean plantation that evokes the memories of a hard Planter's life and the cruel institution of slavery. All of this amidst the impressive Danish West Indies era structures. An inexpensive tour fee as well. more
