We didn't stay at the hotel but did visit the beach for a couple hours. The beach was clean, easy to get to, not crowded, had food/drinks to buy and bathrooms. The water was crystal clear and a great view of the boats in the harbor.

What a shame that this once beautiful hotel has fallen on bad times through a lack of care and upgrading. 40 year old hotel that looks its age. Beach still nice with on site small restaurant that closes late afternoon. Time share owners better start putting some serious $$$ before the place becomes totally vacant. First room had mold on... seriously, loved it. we could sit there all, get chairs and umbrellas, get food brought to us, the view was fantastic, the snorkeling was fantastic. I'd definitely stay in the hotel in the cay if I ever went back to St Croix, which I doubt.

We stayed at the hotel here and thought the vibe was nice. Very small island. Great view of the fort and town.

Lovely little Cay just off Christiansted Harbor - Beach is beautiful & the snorkeling around the Cay is very, very good.

We are staying at the Hotel Caravelle so took the short walk to the ferry to take us to Protestant Cay. It's off season so it was very quiet. We loved it! Instead of looking out to sea, you look out at the harbor and boats and Christiansted. We snorkeled a bit and floated around and relaxed in the clear... More

Beautiful beach with pure white sand. Restaurant staff not very friendly and drink prices were high. Stayed on the Hotel on the Cay, which was nice -- not breathtaking, but nice. Odd that they did not provide shampoo to the guest rooms.

We stayed at Hotel On The Cay for one night and really loved this little Cay. The little ferry was fun, the beach was gorgeous and the people we met were friendly. We will return for sure!

We stayed on the Island at the Hotel on the Cay. You can walk out to the beach anytime. There is a bar/restaurant on the beach. The Ferry is free for people staying at the hotel. Lots of birds and flower everywhere. The beach is available to anyone but the ferry cost $5 for adults to reach the cay.

This is an island in the middle of Christiansted Harbor. It does have a small hotel/condo on the property but the main feature is the white sand beach with view of the town just across the sailboat filled harbor. Nice beach bar is only a few steps away.
