We enjoyed the gardens. There weren't lots of flowers, but there was a wide variety of plant life and even a little rain forest area to walk through. Overall, it was worth the $8 per person charge.

Very interesting!!! So much to appreciate. The smell of the alcohol will keep me warm in cold Britain. I loved it.
the guide provided the minimal amount of information; actually, the televised video was more informative. Most everything is done off site, that is, the molasses is imported and the rum is shipped to N.C. For flavoring and bottling.
We actually took the half hour tour of the factory and it was very interesting to hear about how rum is processed. We also tasted a few different rums after the tour. Try the vanilla rum - it is great!
We enjoyed this garden, The fact that it is built over and around the old ruins of a plantation makes it more interesting. We finally found out what a lot of the plantlife we kept seeing was called.

This is a private nursery on 14 acres, that I'm sure is beautiful, but the description is wrong, they do not do tours ever (the guy at the gardens specifically said "yeah, there's something wrong on TripAdvisor or something." Please fix this, TA!
