Highly recommend doing the night bioluminescent bay tour. There are very few opportunities to see a bio bay, let alone swim in one. By far the coolest thing I did during my visit to St Croix, if not ever. Jill was quick in confirming and replying to my inquiries. Bryan was a great guide. The kayaks had foot pedals which... More

It wasn't what we expected. We were thinking Life of Pi type stuff. Well, it wasn't like that but it was a really unique and peaceful experience. The Dinoflagellates glow with friction, so it was something to see my kids swimming with a glowing aura around them. Brian and Jill are great people and very patient. The nicest feature is... More

Bryan was our guide and his wife Jill helped escort us and launch the kayaks. Both are very passionate and knowledgable in the history of Biobay and kayaking. We had a small group of 10 and half of us jumped in to swim. Our group of four all beamed to others how incredible it was and the swimmers in our... More

We enjoyed Ryan and Jill's kayak tour and the whole experience was delightful. The cab ride through the island from the Cruise port was beautiful, breathtaking views of the ocean. Upon arrival, we enjoyed relaxing at Ryan and Jill's, enjoying an amazing view of the Rain forest and yes, we tried the pedal driven smoothie maker. The kayak trip was... More

Very organized, relaxed atmosphere, seeing the beautiful sites. Brian is full of St Croix history. I was trying to absorb it all. The peddle kayaks made the recreation so easy, especially with 2/boat.

We took the bioluminescence tour with Virgin Kayaks. They were well set up, easy to find at Cane Bay and explained everything at their site there (with some bonus stories from Bryan) before heading down to Salt River. After a quick and easy rundown of the foot-operated kayaks, we pushed off. Bryan, Jill, and John were all highly professional and... More

Can you be super professional, super friendly and super laid back all at the same time? If so they have perfected it at Virgin Kayak Tours. The tour was a true adventure, I don't think words will describe it so I will leave it at that. The owners/staff are friendly and informative and their love of what they do and... More

My son, daughter-in-law and I took Bryan's bioluminescence tour. It was the highlight of our trip to St. Croix. Actually, it is worth the effort to go to St. Croix, just to take this tour. Bryan brought us up to date on the island's history, local culture, political issues, and the science behind bioluminescence all with humor, depth, yet in... More

My wife and I took the bio tour. Ryan was very informative about the waters, the history and what's to come in the future of Salt River. Swimming in the bioluminescence was magical. The foot peddled Kayaks were a nice treat as well.

The foot pedaled kayaks were very comfortable and because they are more stable you can get in the water to enjoy the fairy lights and jellyfish up close.....and manage to get back into the boat. There were about 20 in our group and they had plenty of staff on shore to help launch and recover boats to the beach. They... More
