This tour takes place at Can Bay in Salt River National Park. It is about 30 minutes from the Cruise Ship terminal. You can take a taxi for $20 per person. We made a reservation before we left home with Rashida's Taxi Service and she was there waiting for us when we got off the ship. We got her name... More

We loved our kayak tour with Bryan and Jill. Their love of the nature and history of the area shines through the experience and we learned a lot about the unique ecosystem in the area. We wish our cruise schedule could have accommodated the night-time bioluminesence experience; it sounded magical. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the daytime tour of the Salt... More

My girlfriend hopped off a cruise ship, into a rental car, down the highway, and into Virgin Kayak! Bryan and Jill are passionate about what they believe in and their knowledge of the islands, history and overall beauty surrounding us was second to none. Without hesitation, we will return on our next visit to STX! What a nice surprise to... More

What a wonderful adventure! Jill and Bryan are exceptionally professional & they provide a top-notch service. My husband, daughters (ages 20 and 16), and I enjoyed a recent Saturday night taking kayaks out to the biobay. The kayaks are pedal-operated, which was something novel for us & far preferable to the standard paddle kayaks. When we arrived at the bay,... More

This was our first time in a kayak. We'd been talking about it ever since we moved here 17 years ago. We were passing by their shop one afternoon & they were just getting back from a tour. After a brief visit with Jill & Bryan, we signed up for their bio tour. The passions Jill & Bryan have, that... More

We went on the bioluminescent kayaking tour. The kayaks used by virgin kayak tours are propelled by foot pedals and super easy to use. I have asthma and didn't once feel out of breath. Jill and Bryan were both very nice and accomodating. They are eco friendly and do their best to preserve the bioluminesence in the bay. It was... More

We did the Bio Bay tour and it was amazing! Something we had never done before and will probably never experience again! We loved every minute of our tour!

We spent a breezy sunny day on the water in 2-person kayaks - paddling with foot paddles, which was SO Easy, especially in the wind. Jill and her husband were very welcoming, knowledgable about the island's history, and Bryan in particular was extremely passionate about saving the ecosystem of the Virgin Islands. Jill paddled around all of us snapping pictures,... More

My husband, our grown daughter, our two young grandsons, and I had a truly unforgettable experience with Virgin Kayak Tours in St. Croix. First of all, none of us are seasoned kayakers, and so, I wondered about our ability to handle kayaks in a river. Well, let me say that I wondered and worried for no reason. The kayaks used... More

It really does not get much better than the bioluminescent tour. There are only a handful of places on the planet where one can see something like this. The hobie kayaks used were very easy to steer and paddle (we cruised past the other tour operators whose kayaks used the old fashioned paddles that you had to use your arms).... More
