If you have a car, this is a nice little excursion to the east side of the island. There is a monument and a nice picture op at it. If your adventurous, wear something to hike in and walk the VERY steep pathway to the tidal pools on the extreme east point. The view of the waves hitting the cliff... More

Driving east on St. Croix you start to see the arid side of the island, and even more of the crystalline water. You pass a gigantic operating radio telescope, straight out of a 'Bond ' movie. More cactus as you continue, until the final few twisty turns, and there you are. Hundreds of feet above the Atlantic. Point Udall, with... More

I was Leary to go after reading about the car break ins. There was glass on the ground so you can tell that it does happen. We just parked in the circular drive by the monument and enjoyed the various views from the monument platform. This way the car was always in site. Even without hiking down to the breaking... More

It is the eastern most point of the United States! There is nothing there but a monument and scenery. But, it is great scenery and it is worth the drive because one sees so much of Saint Croix getting there and leaving. Drive there on one coast and return on the other. Take a picture. (No, we did not!)

Beautiful spot for a photo witth significance. Eastern most US Territory, same name as the Western most that is in Guam, named after two brothers dedicated to US service.

Easy to drive to and worth getting up early in the morning. We didn't make it out there our first visit to St. Croix and I had regretted it; I'm so glad we made it out there on our second trip. The monument is beautiful and the sunrise is gorgeous. The drive is relaxing, through the hillside.

Pretty to look at, but would not leave my car unattended there. We did see broken glass and did have warning about leaving car unattended anywhere without allot of traffic.

Cool site marking the eastern most point of US territory. The giant sundial stands on a hill providing scenic Caribbean views. It would be cool to add it's sister site in Guam to the bucket list.

Standing at the easternmost point of US territory is cool, and there's an explanation of how the structure is a sort of sundial. On the other side of the rock wall there's a small trail you can hike down to be at the extreme easternmost point!

The drive to Point Udall alone was full of beautiful, breathtaking scenery. I literally had to pull off to the side at least twice while on my way to Point Udall, just to take in the scenery. My eyes were overloading with beautiful views! As for the destination itself, it felt so serene and fresh. I never felt more at... More
