BIOLUMINESCENT BAY TOURS in the only clear kayaks on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands and only one of two operators using clear kayaks in the world. Visit our bay at Salt River National Park which is currently being studied by the National Park Service and Dr. Michael Latz of Scripps Institute California. Experience the bay that the scientific community was unaware existed until a year ago and now is being called possibly the best of the six or seven year round bioluminescent bays in the world. Our see through boats are the best way to view this definitely better than swimming through it. Father and son owned business by lifelong residents. Also check out our morning tour and nighttime "Creepy Crawler Critter Hunt" at Altona Lagoon.

A definite 'must do' on St Croix. If you've never seen bioluminescence in nature, don't pass up the opportunity. The see thru kayaks are the only way to really appreciate the sparkling plankton. As you whizz by they light up like the Galaxy under your kayak. Paddling in the bay at night and seeing the night sky in itself is... More

My first time on a kayak , so I was really pumped up; it was fun and easy to learn to paddle. Was so exciting to see the water start to 'light' up as we paddled. Was even cooler looking down through the boat seeing streaks of light passing under your body like your warping through space. We had a... More

First kayak trip ever, what a blast! The ability to see thru the kayak definitely helped with the experience. Highly recommend on your trip to St. Croix.

First let me start with saying, IF you have never seen bioluminescence or phosphorous in the water then this is a must do. However, if you HAVE seen this, its not that awesome other than you are kayaking out in the water amongst the hills at night. ( That was more spectacular ) The crew is nice and the clear... More

This special, natural phenomenon is not to be missed on your trip to St Criox. The guides are very professional and friendly, and want their guests to learn, marvel, and be safe. Paddling through the millions of tiny stars is a peaceful and magical experience.

My partner and I spent an evening with this company and were totally satisfied. I think just being out on the water at night and experiencing the bioluminescence would be satisfying, but seeing it through the bottom of the boat was wonderful. The staff were very thoughtful and made the experience more fun. They made sure we and the boats... More

Our group of 5 had a great time! We had 2 non swimmers with us and they too loved it. Michelle and Milo did a great job teaching us and keeping us safe. A really cool adventure to put in your to do list. Be preparrd to do some padeling, but we'll worth it.

Take the bioluminescent tour with sea thru kayaks. Craig, Michelle and Milo were terrific. Their scientific, cultural and historical descriptions were wonderful. They all know their stuff. This is a night time tour and only when there is a low light moon...all the better to see those fluorescent creatures. And, these kayaks are crystal clear, all the better to see.... More

We were very disappointed with this excursion. From the name " luminescence" you would think it would be bright? Nothing like that. We saw a couple of glow worms and only after rowing real fast and then gliding did we see the "stars" whizzing past us from the bottom of the see thru kayak. Milo caught a jelly fish and... More

After looking into this review I realized you are Ms. Saldanha who was a big problem before you even arrived.
