Description: BIOLUMINESCENT BAY TOURS in the only clear kayaks on St. Croix, U.S...
BIOLUMINESCENT BAY TOURS in the only clear kayaks on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands and only one of two operators using clear kayaks in the world. Visit our bay at Salt River National Park which is currently being studied by the National Park Service and Dr. Michael Latz of Scripps Institute California. Experience the bay that the scientific community was unaware existed until a year ago and now is being called possibly the best of the six or seven year round bioluminescent bays in the world. Our see through boats are the best way to view this definitely better than swimming through it.

Make sure you choose THE SEA THRU KAYAK VI Bioluminescent tour if you want the full view experience for your kayak tour and you will not regret it. This has to be the best nighttime experience on the Island of St. Croix. It does take some skill and teamwork to paddle out to the bioluminescent lagoon, however the reward is... More

We had a wonderful experience with this business tonight. When we called, Craig had a very "direct" way to communicate- which I actually respect. He's got a bit of an edge on the phone, but do yourselves a favor and trust his opinion. When we got there, I had decided that I wasn't going to go ( even though I... More

We had a great trip! Looking down in the kayak looked like we were going into warp drive! The staff puts safety first.

The bioluminescence tour was absolutely incredible! The sky was clear so a bazillion stars above, then so many glowing sparkles below. And the jellyfish - brilliant flashes of light. So beautiful - a bucket list item checked off definitely. Craig and his team are so professional and knowledgeable. The see thru kayaks are the only way to go to really... More

Myself and Michelle and Sue would like to thank you for coming out with usand taking the time to review us. This is the best attraction on St.Croix but due to the lack of marketing by the government which is on purpose and the National Park Service looking to destroy it because it is not in the master their plan... This was my third visit to a bio bay, (did the one in Fajardo, and the one in Vieques) By far, the see through kayaks really made a huge difference. Millions of "stars" below you in the kayak. But the highlight was actually the threadworms (OMG, so blessed to see those) and the comb jellyfish that glow in addition to... More

We would like to say thank you for coming out with us, and for taking the time to write a review. Glad that you saw the difference between our bay and some others, our bay is being called the best in the world of the six or seven known year round bays by the scientific community. Craig More

We had an absolutely perfect experience kayaking last night with Sea Thru Kayaks, guided by Sue and Michelle. I was a little bit nervous at first, worried about how difficult it would be, how buggy, and how cold. There was no reason at all for worry. You can't wear bug spray, because it's destructive to the organisms in the bay,... More

Michelle,Sue, and I would like to say thank you for taking the time to review us and for choosing us for your tour. And thank you for all the kind words and praise. We had the pleasure of taking this trip during a new moon (no visible moon) so the conditions were near-perfect. The trip was awesome and not too physically demanding. Having the see through kayak made the trip much more enjoyable. It was amazing to be able to not only look around the kayak but also to look straight through it... More

Myself and Michelle and Sue would like to thank you for your review and for taking the time to write it. Yep our boats do make the difference. We have taken Dr.Latz from Scripps Institute out with us three times so far, he is the foremost authority in the world on shallow water bioluminescence and he always looks forward to... More

We took the night bioluminscent tour on July 23, 2015. First off, it was completely worth it, especially since it's in the Caribbean, and it's a bioluminscent tour, and I've paid the same per person for a simple marsh kayak experience on the coast of Georgia. Despite the presence of some moonlight (it's best to go on a night with... More

As a pre-wedding present, my father is taking me to St. Croix. In trying to find trips and excursions to go on, I came upon this. It looked like a lot of fun (and, for the record, still does), so I e-mailed inquiring into available dates. When I found some dates that worked, after assuring "Craig" that my father is... More
