The white sandy beaches with crystal blue water are breathtaking! The fish are gorgeous around the reef, but be cautious the reef is extremely sharp/jagged and cuts quickly especially with strong currents and waves around you. Only downside is the reef itself isn't very colorful. We took big beards whole day touring company, def would recommend them!

Take the sailboat tour and go with Captain Llewellyn. Great time taking a quiet trip out there rolling with the waves. He'll accompany you on the snorkel tour of the underwater national park. Great conversationalist.

Ok most leave 5 stars on this but I just can't. We had a good experience here which I'll outline but I'd be more at 4.5 than 5 on this. Went with Caribbean Sea Adventures, should be able to leave them a direct review elsewhere but the reason we chose them was because my 2 teenagers were $25 off the... More

We took a snorkeling trip to Buck Island with Capt. Llewellyn's Charter. Capt. Lew sails a 37 ft. trimaran entirely under sail, no motor at all, and he has over 50 years of sailing experience. He is equipped with snorkeling gear if you don't have your own. The snorkeling is fabulously clear and the water and sand is amazingly blue.... More

Beautiful snorkeling place and a very peaceful sail! We took Big Beards tour where they sail to their private island and grill you lunch. After the snorkeling they offer all you can drink rum punch.

It was wonderful, I haven't snorkeled in years and this was a wonderful tour. We did the full day and the staff was amazing. If you do a full day tour, go back during the same week and do the sunset tour for half price! Don't forget to tip the deckhand- Michael is awesome!

Buck Island was amazing and surprisingly close to Christiansted. We were able to drive in, get on the boat, go snorkeling, and were back by 12:30. The island is so beautiful and it was great snorkeling. The water was a bit more choppy than my previous experiences at other places, but that made it more fun. We were allowed to... More

The scenery and beach were just gorgeous! Nice ride to the island and enjoyed swimming and walking the beach. Snorkeling was disappointing - very different from my last visit 10 years ago.

Enjoyed the tour of the reef and seeing all of the wildlife in it's natural habitat. Barracuda, Sharks, among other species.
