We like this place so much, we stopped twice in one week. The bartenders/waitstaff were friendly and helpful and the food was quite good. I would recommend the lobster spring rolls! The beach is lovely, with a great view of Buck Island. We found an amazing starfish and loved the smooth waters, as the waves are buffered by the island.

I was a little concerned after reading some reviews of the cabins at Chenay Bay. However, our visit to the beach there was lovely. It was clean, quiet, plenty of shade and lots of chairs. The restaurant served good food, The water was shallow for reading and swimming. It was a lovely day at Chenay Bay

The day we went to Chenay Bay, east of Chirstiansted, there was sea grass in the water and dead see weeds on the shore, not inviting to swim. If it clears out it may be a beautiful beach. Chenay Bay Beach Resort looks like a nice place to stay there. We were told that all their bungalows have been recently... More

Great snorkeling and no red sea weed that is all over some of the other beaches. You can just sit and watch the turtles pop their heads up in the shade or sun! A little off the road if not at resort parking very limited.

The sand is not very soft but that is my only complaint. It is calm and beautiful! Snorkeling is wonderful, I saw many turtles and sting rays. I loved it.

With the natural protection of Green Cay (pronounced "key") the waters are unusually calm here. Nice sand beaches with sea grass beds 30 to 40 feet off the beach. A great place to practice snorkeling - you won't see tons of fish, but the gentle swells and shallow depths make it an ideal spot for practice. The truly adventurous can... More

Been here many times over the years and am never disappointed. This is a perfect beach local and a hidden gem next to a bird preserve. Quiet, picturesque and best part is NO crowds. Snorkel right off the beach on lively reef and walk the soft sand for almost a mile. Bugs were a pest recently but not too too... More

I booked this a few months ago and afterwards started reading reviews. I have to say I was trepadacious prior to arriving because I had seen so many negatives. To be honest, I had already made a contingency plan in case we got here and this place was not acceptable. You WILL NOT LIKE THIS PLACE if, you are young... More

This beach is GREAT for people getting used to snorkeling. It is does not get very deep and there is nothing intimidating about it. Amazing clear water like every St. Croix beach, and social without being crowded.
